Bath mat for shower was promised and not delivered staff unfriendly arrived 20minutes early had to wait 25 minutes to check in and we went to bed at 10pm there was a lot of loud banging noises and they put tables of very loud people outside the window to our room had to make earplugs out of cotton wool the shower also went seriously hot and then cool without adjusting taps

Travelling from Australia we really love the look and atmoshpere of these English Pubs. Great room
Great service.
Very short walk to Port Isaac.
May be a bit challenging for some to navigate the steep stairs.
Very friendly and Harry (think that was his name) was great value.
Perfect pub and accomodation for a perfect setting.

We spent three amazing days at Port Gaverne Hotel with our special friends Mike and his team are friendly, approachable and above all else totally focused on delivering a quality experience and exceptional service to their guests The food was of the highest quality and the bedrooms of thehighest standard We would strongly recommend this establishment to anyone thinking of a few days by the sea Thanks again Mike and of course Luke and the guys from New Zealand for looking after us so well We will be back !! This is a lovely friendly pub to visit, the staff are very helpful and welcoming. We stopped and had a drink here and decided we’d like to try food the next night. The food and service was great, all very reasonably priced, the food was full of flavour, we enjoyed it that much that we decided to eat here again. This time a Friday evening, it was busy, lots of locals as well as holidaymakers like us, great atmosphere. Keep doing what you’re doing, and to anyone considering eating here, just do it, it’s fabulous.

Excellent friendly historic pub with rooms. Great service from James, Izzy, Jack and the team. Very comfortable rooms. Good selection of food and drink at fair prices.

Stopped off for a drink after visiting nearby Port Isaac. Stunning location and lovely friendly pub right on the harbour. Traditional style modern pub, good range of drinks, the Cornish Cyder was gorgeous! Appears to be very popular and can definitely recommend.

Lovely pictures, lovely restaurant, stunning food. My husband and I spent a week in Port Isaac and visited a few restaurants. This meal, of sea bass was delicious. DELICIOUS! My husband had steak, the chips were gorgeous and the staff were lovely.
