We had an emergency stay in Port Elizabeth and found this amazing hotel guest house. The owner/host Sandra is amazing. The attention and service Sandra provided was exceptional and second to none. A quiet hotel Sandra provides a personal touch. We were very happy with everything during our stay. The room is spacious and clean, the breakfast is plentiful. If you need a hotel with the personal touch in Port Elizabeth look no further- you will not be disappointed. Thank you Sandra

Lovely place. Large and comfortable rooms all kept in excellent condition and the house itself is set in spacious grounds. The breakfast was very tasty, and the hosts very friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I was in the area

Breakfast was the highlight. It was delicious, fresh and sufficient. Charlotte was helpful and friendly, but other staff were not friendly on arrival. Rooms are dated but is in keeping with the Manor House look however in need of an upgrade. Room 4 was not comfortable and very odd. Room 1 was comfortable and spacious. Toilets were not clean and bathroom could do with an upgrade. Location was good. All in all, don’t think that this is a 4 star establishment, and was rather disappointing considering all the great reviews on Google.

Sandra and Arnold are just incredible. Felt like we were staying with friends. Amazingly spacious room. Great conversation over breakfast. Sandra could not have been more friendly and helpful. Definitely staying here again.

Nous avons passé une nuit au Hallack Manor et c'était un très bon séjour. L'entrée est sécurisée avec un portail, la chambre que nous avions au rez-de-chaussée se fermait doublement à clef également. La propriété est grande avec des balancers pour les enfants et une place de parking. A notre arrivée, un lit bébé était installé. La salle de bain très spacieuse avec tout le nécessaire dedans. Le petit-déjeuner était correct avec ce qu'il faut, cuisiné sur le moment + un petit buffet. Sandra était vraiment très sympathique et ses conseils de restaurations le soir également. Seul point négatif, nous avions réservé par booking et la chambre que nous avions en photo n'était pas la même que nous avons eu. Mais ce n'est qu'un détail.
