Our Super 8 Hotel is located close to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lake Huron. Visit us in Port Elgin the first weekend in October for our world-renowned Pumpkinfest or just get away from it all to our little piece of paradise to enjoy our spectacular sunsets. We offer exceptional weekend packages including golf packages scrapbooking retreats and our weekend winter packages. We are located conveniently close to restaurants and shopping. Our Guest Rooms have all been renovated in 2012. Our property is only a short drive to Bruce Power excellent fishing challenging golf courses great snowmobile and cross-country ski trails and the Bruce County Museum and Archives. I Booked this hotel specifically for using Sauna. When i arrived the attendant told me that its not working. Room doors could not be locked. The card keys did not work at first then i had to walk back to the reception to get this fixed. Carpets were terribly dirty and smelled like garbage.

I'm over 60 years old and I have stayed at many hotel in my life. This Super8 would be in my top 10. When I checked in Gary (manager I think) was there to greet me and was nice enough to let me go to the room a few hours early. I had breakfast every morning their(I was there for 3 nights) and it was ok. I was expecting a gourmet breakfast, with coffee, juice and some eggs n sausage my belly was full. I would highly recommend anyone to go to this very clean and great amenities motel.

We were walk-Ins looking for a 1 night stay during the last weekend of March Break. Rachel managed to get us into a room last minute at a very affordable rate. She was helpful, kind and very knowledgeable about things going on in the area and answered our many questions with a smile and oh yeah our room was quite nice to - shout out to the cleaner as our room was very clean. I work in the Condo/Chalet rental industry @ Blue Mountain and I can honestly say every Hotel needs someone like Rachel working their front reception desk. Her hospitality will definitely have us coming back again. Well Done Rachel!!!! Tracey & Blair Nauffts.

The staff were all so kind and nice. Valisyam and Jasanh ( hope I am spelling their correctly ) we're all helpful. They also were kind in making sure there is milk alternatives and responded to our vegan meal request. . The stay was comfortable we really enjoyed the the indoor pool on the rainy day and the hot tub.

Our summer vacation BUT not impressed... Indoor pool needs to be cleaned, badly. Hot Tub is sadly not working and closed off. Breakfast ends too early, 9:30 AM.

Good value for money!!
The hotel waa good for the value of money spent.
The front desk agent was very helpful and immediately changed the room when we complained of cigarettes smell.
The breakfast spread was very very nice.
Good spot if you want to stay at a reasonable rate at bruce pennisula.

I didn't like that on-site staff didn't tell me or my wife that we had to ask for housekeeping to provide clean towels, hand towel, and wash cloths. We had to wait until 9 pm for clean stuff to take showers. Their is some kind of mess on the fireplace glass.
We really like the stove and microwave.
