Lovely apartment with lots of amenities. Also on site laundry with drying racks provided which were very useful. Went to a lovely local restaurant close by 5 mins in the car. Aiden in reception was very helpful with recommendations for trips and things to do.
Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Lazy Lizard 3 yrs ago so when i booked this trip it was with no hesitation that we stay here again. Adrian and Alex are the best hosts and an asset to Port Douglas. The boys have thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable that makes me reluctant to leave. A few minutes drive from the town centre, we used Excellence bus service when we wanted to drink at only $9 return its well worth it. The LL is a piece of heaven, very peaceful. The rooms are spotless with the whitest of white bed linen and towels. A small kitchenette with a microwave, toaster and kettle. The pool is divine, there is a BBQ and 2 smoking areas. If big flashy hotels are not your thing dont hesitate to stay at the LL the price is well worth it.

Great communication with us regarding our late check in, everything went smoothly. Clean, quiet and spacious apartment with plenty of parking. Aidan in reception was really helpful, giving us lots of information about the local area, and what to see and do.

Well what can we say but another fun filled week in beautiful Port Douglas staying at the gorgeous Lazy Lizard again! Aidan and Alex are the perfect hosts and don’t hesitate to help make your stay a memorable one! Rooms are spotless with great inclusions and we love the pool too! Excellent motel providing everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Received a warm welcome from Aiden, giving us loads of information of what to do in the area. Very helpful indeed. When we entered our room, we were given a welcome bottle of red wine and a lovely greetings card, which was such a kind gesture, from the Lazy Lizard team. Clean, well equipped. appointed rooms, plenty of space and everything was easily accessible. The pool on site was a great space to relax & unwind. Comfortable & peaceful. The Lazy Lizard was everything we had hoped for and more. If we were to visit Port Douglas, we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Travelling for Business purposes the Lazy Lizard was excellent. I pre booked in person with Aiden whilst staying at another resort. Aiden was exceptionally accommodating & lovely to deal with and pre-booked my next several weeks over night stays in advance. I had heard many wonderful things about The Lazy Lizard and the boys. They certainly live up to their well appointed reviews. The room was of great size and had everything you could have needed, Clean & tidy, well appointed with a great mattress and amazing hot water and pressure. See you next week & thank you Charlie.

We really enjoyed Lazy Lizard during our 5 night stay. Room is spacious, bed is comfy. Nice to have a little kitchen to prepare your own food. Nice little outdoor place, pool area and parking close to room. Very friendly and helpful staff.can absolutely recommend this place
