Well what can we say but another fun filled week in beautiful Port Douglas staying at the gorgeous Lazy Lizard again! Aidan and Alex are the perfect hosts and don’t hesitate to help make your stay a memorable one! Rooms are spotless with great inclusions and we love the pool too! Easy access to beach walks, clubs, pubs and of course shopping! Thanks boys for another fabulous memorable break, till next time ❤️ Cheers

Excellent motel providing everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Received a warm welcome from Aiden, giving us loads of information of what to do in the area. Very helpful indeed. When we entered our room, we were given a welcome bottle of red wine and a lovely greetings card, which was such a kind gesture, from the Lazy Lizard team. Clean, well equipped. appointed rooms, plenty of space and everything was easily accessible. The pool on site was a great space to relax & unwind. Comfortable & peaceful. The Lazy Lizard was everything we had hoped for and more. If we were to visit Port Douglas, we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Travelling for Business purposes the Lazy Lizard was excellent. I pre booked in person with Aiden whilst staying at another resort. Aiden was exceptionally accommodating & lovely to deal with and pre-booked my next several weeks over night stays in advance. I had heard many wonderful things about The Lazy Lizard and the boys. They certainly live up to their well appointed reviews. The room was of great size and had everything you could have needed, Clean & tidy, well appointed with a great mattress and amazing hot water and pressure. See you next week & thank you Charlie.

We loved the Lazy Lizard! The heated pool was fantastic. The owners gave us great advice about how to attack out drive up to Cape Tribulation, which boat trip to do on the Daintree. All worked out fine. I would recommend staying there to my family and friends.

Stayed at this well-appointed motel for just one overnight and immediately wished it could have been a longer stay. Aidan, our host, in the course of giving us a warm welcome, informed us of the resident Frogmouths, which for me, a keen birder, was music to my ears…say no more. The room was very comfortable and the motel is an easy walk into beautiful Port Douglas. Although it was a very short stay, I’ve no doubt a longer stay would have been a great experience. As a side note, I like the way the Aidan & Co. respond to TA reviews…it says a lot about how much they care about giving their clients the 5-star experience.

Great location, quiet, clean and comfortable. Loved having a patio to enjoy and the ability to open the windows for fresh air. Aidan was so helpful and informative about the area and sights to see. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at The Lazy Lizard. Quiet location and a very well maintained property. The disabled bathroom met all our needs and the bedroom/living area was very spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Would have loved to stay longer.

Great location, cute roadside inn, and you really cannot beat the service. I emailed Aidan before my vacation began and got a full list of all the options and recommendations for things to do. He booked everything for me so by the time I got there, all I had to do was enjoy. Couldn't ask for more. Note that the walk into the main drag isn't too bad (15-20 minutes) which is fine at the beginning of the day but can be rough at the end of a long snorkeling day, so also check out the shuttle!
