The villa was very run down, and in a state of disrepair; ceiling fans falling off with exposed wires, curtains off tracks, mouldy unusable outdoor furniture, cobwebs, mouldy bathroom floors, stained carpets ( we would not walk around without footwear), broken bedside tables, a hairdryer that almost walked out to meet me from the rust stained, mouldy bathroom cabinet. (However, on the plus side the sheets and towels were clean) The resort advertised a poolside bar and snacks and barista coffee… this was not the case. A shame as the potential to be a great holiday spot is there. We checked out early from there, front of house staff were very good, and we found accommodation elsewhere.

Advertised restaurant and bar consists of choice of 4 frozen pizzas or chips at lunch time on only 4 days a week. Everything is closed and locked by 4pm and no service available. Villa 82. No fly screens or security doors so unable to leave doors or windows open. Swarm of what looked like black flies outside but when we asked for fly spray we were told they are native bees and it’s illegal to spray them. Even if you tried to sit outside the 2 aircons from next unit run 24 hours a day and blow straight across the outdoor seating area. If you move out further onto the grass, the stagnant water is full of mosquitoes. Inside the fans squeak and rattle. The fan wiring in the second bedroom hangs 20 cm out of the ceiling but has obviously been like that for years as the wires have been painted and now caked in dirt. Not even an ice cube tray in the fridge which also has broken shelves in the door. Water from the shower runs across the bathroom as the drain is blocked. I think you get the message.

This has been our 4th stay at the resort. Unfortunately the villa we stayed in was looking very tired and in urgent need of some works. the aircon was constantly leaking, the sofa was stained and the beds were quite worn out and uncomfortable. We used to love to come here because of the spacious villas, great pool, the bbq area for guests and the good breakfast. The resort does no longer offer breakfast and the bbqs have been demolished. Gym was also quite disappointing as only 2 of the 4 machines were working. Some urgent upgrade works required here.
I don’t think we will return.

We had a good stay here. The house size was great for four people, it does need some serious revamping, it all feels a bit old and dated, meaning it didn’t feel particularly clean, we did find dirty dishes and cutlery in the draw and they could’ve all done with a deep clean. I wouldn’t say the property matches the photos. Don’t get me wrong it was a good average stay and the pool was really nice. Great if you have a car and appreciate the free parking if not it’s a bit of a walk to the town.

We loved staying here. Our kids loved the cave under the waterfall and great accomodation. We had enough space and only 5 minutes into town. Had the best week here!

Truly an excellent place, the owners didnt hesistate to put the best building materials into the villa. There are at least 5 to 6 towel hangers in bathroom. No stinginess there. The architect did an amazing job making a 2 BR villa look big, and on our first entry we said "wow". The swimming pool was special with lots of little spa like sections, all connected to main section, people can sit around and chat with separate privacy. An 11 am check out time gave us a lovely relaxed last morning. We still checked out at 930 am as habit, but knowing it's 11 am, we didn't feel any rush packing up. An 11am check out time for such a large 2 storey 2BR villa to clean before next customers'check-in at 2 pm, this really gives all the other hotels/motels a tough act to follow.
