Budgeting for 10 nights, this was chosen for a 10 night stay at best price available. A very central downtown location, handy to cafes, supermarkets, beach, Sunday market etc.
Although abled bodies, there was alot of concern for multiple steps and tight corners within the property. The studio unit was small, squeezy and would suit either a single or a stay if a couple of nights.
Issues such as having to pull the microwave out to turn the power on to that and the television, move the large coffee table at night to avoid injury, getting in and out of the very deep sided spa bath for a shower and the tightest of food preparing space put a dampener on an otherwise lovely stay.

Room very small as advertised as a studio.A bed and 2 seater settee sqeezed in.Nowhere to put cases.Very very limited facilities.Tiny area to even make a sandwich.TV,which was very small,could only be watched from bed ,as it was high up on wall at bottom of bed.Any dishes used could only be washed in the bathroom sink.The advertised terrace was a concrete box.No outside view at all.This room was definately not worth it.Left after 1 night.Make sure you know what you are getting.Only plus .Good location

We arrived late but communication was excellent to allow us to get the key to our room outside of reception hours. The room was clean, with sufficient toiletries and towels. Although on ground floor, it had a nice outside space. Probably would recommend upgrading to one bedroom with kitchen as there would be more space for two people but it was comfortable and very quiet. The location is perfect, in the middle of main street so ideal for walking spots and eateries. The staff are super helpful, allowing us a late check out and access to another room prior to leaving. That was so kind and thoughtful.

The Manager, Shannon, and her team, made this a great experience for us from the initial enquiry. They were prompt and accommodating. We arrived after hours and the instructions to get into our room and know where to park were easy to follow. The location is fantastic, walking distance to anywhere. Good space to live in for a week, and enough bits and bobs to cook if that's your vibe. Of particular note is the assistance and solution provided when the street had internet issues and one of us had to get some work done (Shannon even offered a car ride to co-working space she had organised for me at their sister hotel). We wouldn't hesitate to book here again if returning to Port Douglas.

Central, nice and great staff
Top floor unit at the back was very quiet and relaxing. Spacious apartment with wooden sliding door to close off bedroom if desired.
Sharp knives were not very sharp but that is always the case at motels. Ceiling fan in bedroom was a bit too low so it always felt too strong. Spa bath in shower was a nice bonus. Easy walking distance to everything on Macrossan St. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Lovely place.

The room was spacious and clean. We thought the limited front desk time would be challenging but they communicated well with easy instructions so no problem at all. The pool is a bit kiddish but I donot come to Port Douglas to swim in a pool. Parking space is tight but manageable.

Room was tiny and badly laid out. Lighting poor. Room was extremely small and the layout, especially the area for the bench, kettle toaster etc was terrible. Supposed to have a spa tub but it didn’t work. Only savings graces were the location and the staff who were smiling and helpful.
