A una corta distancia en coche del centro de Port Douglas. Apartamento grande, y muy bien equipado. Pudimos utilizar el servicio de lavandería. El lugar muy tranquilo y familiar. La piscina no la llegamos a usar, pero tenía buena pinta.

Super relaxed and yet well run place. Our key was pinned up waiting for us upon arrival in afternoon. The room was huge with outside area, cooking facilities and private. Lovely pool area and whole place has beautiful tropical plants and flowers. Both owners keep on top of gardening and were friendly. They also helped in recommending Wavelength as a reef operator as we wanted snorkel only. Place works and is about 25 mins walk from marina or you can get shuttle. Also about 15 mins walk to 4 Mike beach.

Other reviews are pretty much spot on. This is definitely a fun place: outdoor shower/bath/hammock/patio, spacious living, kitchen, shower and bedroom. All in a very private, peaceful courtyard. Lots of little extras from robes to bug spray provided. More than you get in the average hotel! Laundry, shared BBQ, reasonably priced honesty bar, clean (good sized) swimming pool, games space (with pool/table tennis). There was also a selection of games, dvds and books available. 20 minute straightforward walk to the centre and and easy walk to the beach (cut through opposite the Vietnamese place). Staff were friendly and allowed to us to check out a little later. I will say, it is a bit tired in places but that is reflected in the price. If you want shiny new looking accommodation, this isn't for you! The only other thing I can complain about is that the honesty bar had only beers in (which I don't drink)! ☹️ One quirk to note: low kitchen counters and toilet (that one will catch you out)! Three words to sum up: private, memorable, fun.

Fabulous funky place to stay. Lovely gardens and pool area with large selection of drinks at the honesty bar. All the ammenities in you room including plunger with coffee provided and I loved the robe to get into after a shower.. 20 minutes to walk into town, very quiet to. Great stay thank you

Absolutely amazing place. The staff were wonderful to this first time visitor to Port Douglas, the grounds were great and the garden villa stunning and spacious for the price. Can't recommend them enough and will definitely be returning!

Pink Flamingo Resort was the perfect place for our stay in Port Douglas. We had a garden villa which included a private patio, outdoor tub, hammock, & patio furniture. The unit itself was as good as any air b&b. The grounds are not only quiet but also reflect the tropical rainforest of the surrounding region. Other amenities included laundry, swimming pool(no curfew), honor bar(beer & soda), bbq, library (books & DVD’s),Wi-Fi, pet friendly, and more. The staff were great. Not far from the town center. We would definitely stay there again.

We spent 2 nights here. It’s querky but fun. It’s super private as there are only 10 rooms. We usually had the pool to ourselves. But the room is missing a few things like No trash can for the kitchen. Cabinets in the kitchen don’t have a toe space at the floor so I was constantly stubbing my toe. No power plugs near the bed and poor reading lights near the bed. There was only a poorly lit sign out front so we had trouble finding the place at night. The most irksome issue is the long slog from parking to the rooms on a gravel footpath means you carry all luggage as the gravel won’t let wheels past. So pack lightly and you’ll have a great time.
