Our feet were black from the dirty floor. Charged $25 per day as a pet fee. We were there for 4 days. 2 of those days no one even entered the room! Still got charged. There is only 1 luggage cart. Good luck finding it. Breakfast? There was 1 waffle maker. That’s it and the only hot food hot food choice. Found 2 banana’s that were not black. Definitely will not return!

⭐ 1-Star Review: Days Inn by Wyndham Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. Our experience during a two-night stay in November 2025 was unacceptable and downright unsanitary. When we checked in on Friday, November 14th, we immediately noticed scattered roaches and ants throughout the room. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained. By Saturday morning, things got even worse. We attempted to take a shower, only to discover the shower nozzle was spraying water all over the bathroom, and the handle to adjust the temperature was broken. When we asked the front desk to move us to another room, they claimed they were fully booked and offered no solution. Breakfast Saturday morning was the final straw. The entire food serving area was covered in ants — absolutely disgusting and unsafe. At that point, we asked for a refund for both nights. We were told that because we booked through a third party, the hotel would not assist us. The conditions were so unlivable — between the roaches, ants, and broken shower — that we were forced to find other lodging for Saturday night. This hotel failed on every level: cleanliness, maintenance, customer service, and basic health standards. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and am requesting a full refund for this unacceptable experience.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect. The room had new furniture, comfy bed, fresh paint, and all that we needed. It was close to the beach and amazing restaurants. The staff was friendly, especially the general manager who answered all of our questions about things to do in the area. There were fresh flowers in our room to make our birthday celebration extra special. We will stay here again the next time we visit!

Walked into the room to find a dead roach in the middle of the floor. Not surprising since you could slide your hand under the door to the room as there was no door sweep. Room was supposed to be a non-smoking but clearly was not from the smell. Air conditioner was leaking water and clearly had been for some time given that the flooring was warped and saturated. Shower had low pressure and you had to duck to get under the shower head. Did not attempt the pool as it looked dirty. The convenient location to shopping and dining spots was the only good thing about the stay.

The continental breakfast was not a breakfast but a Hostess cake snack, the juice machine was broken the entire 10 days we were there. Very disappointed.

Staff was great though not coming out to meet the gusts by using a kiosk was cold and unfriendly. Staff sould greet each guest, in person, as we were entering the hotel as they would at home. Breakfast wasn't breakfast it was just wrapped processed food like Hostess, donuts. Hard for folks to stomach & nothing healthy. They could at least have an assortment of fruit, like bananas, apples, oranges, or even yogurt in a mini Refrigerator.

Everything was good except for breakfast or lack of I must say. Breakfast consist of debbie cakes, granola bars and coffee. That is it and would've been perfectly fine if we would've known before hand. Besides that everything was fine and was clean which I did appreciate.
