Property Description
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our Cedars by the Creek cabin as you explore all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer! Just minutes from town and Hurricane Ridge, yet you'll feel a million miles away from everything sitting by the creek with your morning coffee. After a day of exploring the ONP, kick back and relax with family and friends as you sit by the creekside firepit roasting smores and telling stories, take a soak in the hot tub, or a steam in the sauna. The possibilities are endless! Cedars by the Creek cabin sits on a meandering creek tucked away in a beautiful valley just east of Port Angeles. The cabin is conveniently located for easy access to Hurricane Ridge and the multitude of beaches and hikes in Olympic National Park, not to mention the fun and activities of Port Angeles and Sequim. Head out for a day of fun as you hike Hurricane Ridge, gaze in awe at Sol Duc Waterfall, or explore the tide pools at Salt Creek. Experience the Lavender and Irrigation festivals of Sequim or take the Ferry from Port Angeles to explore Victoria. Head to Forks to catch that giant King Salmon, kayak along the crystal clear waters of Lake Crescent, or bring the family to Marrymere Falls. There is no shortage of things to do!! The property boasts towering cedar trees next to over 170ft of private creek frontage. Sit back and relax as you watch the many deer that frequent the property, or peer into the water and watch the salmon on their journey up the creek. In the winter months, feel free to wet your line and fish for the many trout that inhabit the waters. Use one of the creekside yoga platforms to stretch and center yourself. Sit in the back yard hot tub as you listen to the creek or steam in the sauna after a long day of hiking. And of course, there is no better place to enjoy the company of your friends and family than around the creekside firepit. Once you come inside, the relaxing continues! The 2600 square foot cabin has plenty of room for everyone. Upstairs, a large family room and fully equipped kitchen make for a great place to hang out. Watch a movie or play a boardgame. There is plenty of space to sit and eat whether its at the dining table, breakfast nook, or patio table. And don't worry, if you have little ones- we got you covered! We have a pack and play, a high chair, childrens' plates and silverware, and kids toys and books; we have everything to ensure your little ones have a great time too. Downstairs, you'll find 3 bedrooms, each with its own accompanying bathroom, and a kitchenette. You'll sleep in comfort on the memory foam mattresses and luxurious sheets. When you awake, enjoy the coffee bar as you get ready for another adventurous day on the Olympic Peninsula! All areas of the house are professionally and meticulously cleaned according to CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of viruses including Covid, bacteria and mold. Other things to note: There are 6 outdoor security cameras and a Ring doorbell. There are no indoor cameras. There are no cameras in outdoor areas where greater privacy is expected. There is a Minut noise/decibel monitoring device in the house. This does not record or video, but does detect sound above a certain decibel range. Incredible. The house was so well appointed, comfortable and packed with extras. We had a family of deer who joined us throughout our stay. Would love to come back!

Gateway to the peninsula This was a very nice house with a great yard. We did plenty of cooking in the well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful Stay This home was perfect for our 2 families to enjoy spring break. So many spaces to enjoy outside by the creek, the fire pit, the sauna, or hot tub. Indoor was equally well thought out and had everything we needed and more. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Unique location and beautiful property We stayed here for 2 nights and we wish we had stayed longer. We were 2 families with kids and grandparents with us and everyone slept comfortably. We had rain for most of our stay so it was nice that the house inside was so spacious that all 9 of us didn't feel crammed and the kids had so much room to play and run around. The outdoor space was even more amazing. We only wish we had a bit better weather to enjoy it truly. I can imagine this being an amazing getaway in the summer for a big group to gather outside. The only two things I'd flag are that it could be a bit cleaner and it would have been nice to be warned about the cameras outside the house.

Olympic Park Get Away Spent 4 days at the property exploring ONP. Property was in a great location with a beautiful backyard. Enjoyed sitting by the water watching the salmon swim upstream and the frequent deer visitors. We would definitely love to return.

Family Get-away Our family of 7 (6 adults and 1 teen) has traveled together quite a bit. This cabin is by far one of the best we’ve stayed at. It is beautifully decorated, and cozy with more than adequate kitchen and bath supplies. The back area is so tranquil you don’t want to leave. It is also a great location with easy access to Olympic NP. Only issue with the area was finding a restaurant in Port Angeles that would accommodate 7 of us for dinner. Overall a fantastic stay!

Stay at property in Port Angeles The property was very well maintained and clean. There is a beautiful stream that runs at the back of the property which just adds to the experience. Clean linen and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and crockery. One of the sinks was clogged but the landlord was quick in sending over a plumber on a weekend. The only comment for improvement is having sticky pads for the bathroom mats since the floors can get slippery when wet. I will definitely refer this property to friends and visit again as well.

Great Place What a great place for a family of 5. Plenty of room and things to do. The house had everything we needed and was just as depicted. We will be back for sure. Matt B.
