A thoroughly enjoyable end to our Cape Town/Garden Route holiday. They really know how to look after you with everyone being so friendly from Wilson on the gate to Kayla on the game drive. Accommodation is huge with two large bathrooms and a large balcony with comfotable seating. The view was stunning overlooking the deer ostriches etc and the beach and sea beyond. All the meals were really good . Unfortunately the weather was not kind enough for us to take up the offer to have lunch on the beach. Any time you are in the area do spend a few days here - you won't regret it. To everyone at Oceana thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

We called to ask if they took no resort walk in clients at their resturant were advised they do. We drove from Cannon Rocks to go for lunch at the gate we woke up the security who called in to confirm we had a “reservation” we knew we had called and been advised we could walk in. After 5 min wait at the gate feeling stupid we were told we can’t get in. We called again from the gate and advised we had driven and were told we needed a reservation and could not come in without one as-well as we needed to pay a deposit to confirm booking. Well will never come again and will advise all travelers and friends to avoid the bad attitude and arrogance of this place and staff

We had a 3 night stay between safari's and the entire experience was outstanding. The lodge sits high on the hillside with spectacular ocean views. Our room had a wonderful wrap around balcony and was so spacious. The ocean views are absolutely awesome. Our two main servers were Siviwe and Bongie and they were excellent. The food overall was above average with good size portions. We did a couple of game drives and the guides Kayla and Prime were knowledgeable and personable. Oceana has mostly small game and they are quite easy to find. If you are looking for the Big 5 this is not the place. This is the place for a wonderful getaway with an outstanding staff and breath taking views. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again.

Maybe the awful weather played a part but this is not a 5 star resort. Staff very nice and attentive but boy is the service really slow. Room dated. Food ok but nothing more. Wi-Fi in room intermittent and slow. Room safe didn’t work on arrival although fixed. Room cold and log effect fire did not work. No hot water on either morning. Game reserve trip ok but nothing more ( they do emphasise no big 5). This was supposed to be the highlight of our trip but it wasn’t up to expectations or worth the long drive to get there.

The location itself is beautiful with breathtaking scenery. However, for the price, we were expecting a little more. Our room was clean, but the communal toilets were not. I'm lactose intolerant and was assured by the manager prior to our stay that they could accommodate me, as we ideally wanted to be all inclusive. The dairy free options were very bland and disappointing, with the dessert being fruit every night. The staff however were lovely and I cannot fault them. We were just expecting something a little more special, as we broke our budget to stay here.

Stunning place. The weather was not kind to us so unfortunately we did not get to the beach and only one game drive in a 3 night stay. However we used the spa and games room with pool and shuffleboard. The room was huge. The bedroom and bathroom are open plan although there was a door to the toilet. A very large balcony to enjoy a view of the beach and Indian ocean or curl up in the lounge area with a fire. For us, the food was reasonable although we had to send tepid or cold food back. The biggest issue at lunch and dinner was the length of time it took to be served with the food. 45 mins for a burger and chips for example. The staff were polite and pleasant. Overall, although we enjoyed our stay it was not a 5 star experience.

I've had an amazing experience at the resort, starting from the warm welcome by the friendly staff and the absolute splendor of impeccable views from the beach suit - cleanliness,care of the reserve, luxurious touches all around the lodge. The food served was divine and well presented. The Game Drive was exciting and informative from ranger -PRIME who shared quite beautiful insights about the animal life at the lodge. OCEANA is definitely a piece of paradise that I can't get enough off.

We were blown away by our stay at Oceana. The location is excellent, the rooms are very very comfortable with the most beautiful views. The staff are beyond amazing. I think we gained a few kilos from the delicious food. I loved the surprise bubble bath with flower petals ready for us in our room after dinner on day 3 of our stay.
