"We booked a night in Vainiola as we were visiting Villa Maria. Wish we had stayed longer. Vanilla is their “superior room” and gets you a suite in an Alvar Aalto building. Even better - the shared space includes the dining room and sitting room, so you can chill in an incredibly elegant space. There’s even a small kitchen so you can prepare your own food to eat in the dining room."

"Very nice and cozy hostel added with great service. Room was clean and tidy and it had a fridge which was handy. The building interiors were nicely decorated with nautical items. Breakfast wasn't just a croissant and a cup of coffee, it had lots of different items (like oat porridge with blueberries, fruits, bread, fried eggs etc. I was glad I paid 10 euros for that). It's like a crossover between BedAndBreakfast and a hostel. All in all, recommended."
