We felt very comfortable here. The breakfast and dinner buffets really had something for everyone and were of high quality. No one leaves the dining room hungry. I really liked the selection of fish and vegetables. The hotel staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. A light in the bathroom burned out during our stay. It was replaced immediately. The two outdoor pools and the beach are really beautiful. If you wear water shoes, you can even manage the slippery rocks. Thanks to the many sun loungers right by the pool, on the lawn, and on the beach, finding a lounger (in the sun or shade) was never a problem. We would recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

We extended our stay by one night. It was very nice. Unfortunately, it's very crowded now, and loungers are running out, and even the best spots by the pool are being reserved. There are beach towels everywhere. No beach bags 🙁 Yesterday I was very disappointed with dinner. If you want to eat later and not with the crowd, you won't get anything fresh. Everything is stale and cold. But that's just how a buffet is for many guests.

It is a beautiful location overlooking the sea. The rooms and bathroom are spacious with a sitting area. Beds are good. It was very clean and quiet. No noise and loud music or rowdy crowd. Delicious. If you like a DJ you can walk to one of the other hotels. These are on the same site. We had breakfast and dinner. That was a lot of choice and really tasty. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

Hotel was above expectations for half board family holiday with two teenage boys. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good and varied buffet menu. 2 Great swimming pools. Excellent location next to sea with bathing platforms for easy access around peninsular. Clear sea water. Easy accessibility to Zelena Laguna bars, restaurants, pier for boat tours and tennis courts. 20 min tourist train ride to Porec. All very easy making for an enjoyable stay. 1hr Yoga session with Elena was perfect start to every morning. She was competent and experienced and part of the hotel offering. Only criticism was that there was enough sun beds, which were taken early each day by many german guests.

Nothing to fault about our week-long stay at Hotel Parentium. The location metres from the sea and surrounded by wooded areas and loads of activities to do, the high-quality hotel facilities and modern spaces, friendly and efficient staff, fantastic pool and food, and plenty of low-key quality entertainment each evening made it a special week. Porec town is a short journey away and well worth a visit. Highly recommend for couples and families with kids alike.

This hotel is top class, the location is perfect, and the wider resort has well-kept grounds and is very clean. I have visited this hotel with my family four times now, and it has always been maintained to a very high standard. Some families may not like the absence of a sandy beach, but we much prefer being around a pool, so this is not an issue for us. The staff are great. Room cleaners are always quick and efficient, and they do the rooms up nicely each day. Waiters and bar staff all have a positive attitude and are very friendly, making you feel at home. At some hotels, you feel like you are being served by robots, but the staff here are thorough and attentive. They often strike up conversation, which creates a great atmosphere around the hotel. It was nice to be recognised by some of the staff we spoke to during our stay last year. The maintenance team is also very good. We had a couple of very minor issues, both of which were sorted out right away. Reception is helpful as well. The resort is a little bit out of the way from Porec and other places, so keep that in mind if you are not a pool dweller like myself. A taxi into Porec is usually the best option or you can hire a car if you want to explore. We have done this in previous years but just wanted to relax this time. You can also get a speedboat taxi, normal taxi boat or the road train. We still enjoyed a couple of nights in Porec, but the hotel buffet is very good, probably one of the widest spreads I have seen at any hotel. There is always pizza and fries at dinner for picky eaters too. There are plenty of shops and cafes around the resort and within a short walking distance to grab lunch if you are on bed and breakfast or half-board. SOME SLIGHT CRITICISMS Both pools were closed for maintenance at different times during our stay, but only one at a time, so there was always somewhere to swim. However, this work should be done during the off-season. The pool bar tends to play exactly the same music every day. I would prefer if they could put on a mix for some variety. The bottled water price felt excessive at €5 for a 0.75L bottle of Jana, while the nearby market sells 1L for €1.30 only, significantly less. While a markup is expected, wanting bottled water with a meal makes you feel cornered into paying an excessive price. I am generally tolerant of children, especially during peak season, but staff seemed too lenient with disruptive behaviour. Kids riding scooters indoors in the lobby and restaurant (yes the restaurant) at night was noisy and unsafe for elderly guests and waiters moving quickly with trays full of drinks. It felt like an accident waiting to happen, yet no intervention occurred. Some parents seem okay with, which is to be expected, their children behaving disruptively without teaching the basics of mindfulness towards others. I also saw young children climbing on gym equipment, which is distracting to older teens and adults trying to exercise properly. The indoor sp

We choose this hotel to rest after 8-hours flight and before long trip across Croatia. Nice ocean front location, nice view from the room. BUT…. 3 nights out of 4 that we spent in hotel there were some events that produced noises till 3-4AM. Music as loud that walls vibrate on the top floor of hotel. People that scream outside. I was trying to use earplugs, but it does not work when building is vibrating. We could not sleep, could not rest, felt tired every morning. I spoke to hotel manager. He told that this hotel has events and he can do nothing about noise it produces. He offered some small discount that is worthless as we came to hotel to rest before long trip. Its nice place but till the point when they smile in your face saying that somebody paid more, so from now they set rules and may override your rights to enjoy this place.

Lovely setting, but a bit out of the way. Ideal for those with own transport. Very helpful staff. Food is buffet style and not of the best. Hot dishes are often lukewarm at best. Customers don't help the situation, showing little consideration for others. Apart from the pools, there is little to entertain in hotel. Some music in the evening. Disappointed that A la Carte restaurant was not open in the evenings, during our visit. Would have loved to have had a peaceful meal as opposed to running the gauntlet at the buffet. Not nice to see people squirrelling food away for a picnic. Overall an ok stay, but would not return. The staff was the highlight.

Lovely hotel with great food and drink all at reasonable prices. It has a vast area for sunbathing, relaxing, also right alongside the sea, so there was never any trouble getting a sunbed wherever you wanted. Rooms/balconies very comfortable. Entertainment in the evenings was OK, quite basic, but there wasn't may other guests around so the hotel bar was empty earlier than we expected, so maybe not a great place to put much bigger entertainment Easy access into Porec on the little train for other entertainment

The hotel was great and in a beautiful location, just a 10 minute walk from everything you needed without feeling like you were in the middle of it all. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, although we tried to speak a little Croatian, their English was excellent so communicating wasn’t an issue. The food was fantastic with lots of variety and plenty available. The only criticism we would give is that we were surprised there wasn’t at least a glass of wine included with dinner. There was as much champagne as you wanted at breakfast (which was a little odd to us) but not a single drink included with the evening meal. The hotel itself didn’t have many facilities for young children but that suited us because our daughter is 16 but there’s plenty to do near the hotel for families of all ages and couples, including plenty of water sports. We rented an e-scooter locally which was great fun, did some lovely walks around the bay and found some beautiful secluded coves, lots of swimming and snorkelling and used the land train many times to go into Porec which is stunning. The Basillica is definitely worth a visit. Porec is beautiful and we will be back I'm sure!
