Wife gives five stars for the shower! Within walking distance to the entire central “old” Poppi and to the downtown Poppi area. Staff was very friendly and accommodated our every need."

"It's difficult to express the sensations we experienced during our stay at Villa Donna Clara for the June 2, 2026, long weekend: we found ourselves in a magical place, immersed in the lush nature surrounding the entire property. Each home has been restored with extraordinary care and attention. It was wonderful to lose yourself in the large park where you encounter evocative statues, panels with poems by Hesse and Alda Merini, or to stretch out in a large hammock anchored between the tall beech trees, allowing you to gaze at the sky, the branches, and the leaves of the trees. Everything is a poem amidst rose gardens, flowers, bushes with intense colors and scents, chairs, benches, and gazebos placed not by chance but to invite you to relax and seize the moment: a benefit, a cure, an awakening for the soul. And all around, only peace and silence: I wouldn't call our holiday a luxury; it was something more. We breathed, we found the time to be embraced by nature and all it offers, we lived it to the fullest and were completely regenerated. A special thanks to Lapo for the care and love he has for this place and for how he conceived and created it; it is a gift to all of us who enjoy it. "We left a day early out of desperation, my partner had booked this property for two nights and we found ourselves last night without radiators for a good 4 hours in the evening, it was snowing and cold outside, let me start by saying I have two children aged 2 and 3, we have I was very cold.. even though we informed the reception of this inconvenience they said they would fix it well I never slept due to the cold and I checked both at 2, 4 and 5 in the morning always turned off the next day despite the discomfort and the cold they offer us to go to the suite by paying 50 euros more... that is, a nice structure would cost me around 50 euros? Instead of apologizing to us and actually repaying us, you tell me that you will move me with 50 euros more....thanks for ruining my birthday present...you could have simply said sorry after making us spend a night in the cold and move us to a suite for free seen that the problem of the malfunction was YOURS! WHAT CAN I SAY BEAUTIFUL STRUCTURE but I would never go back there again... moral of the story they wanted the money for both nights even though we left just after lunch because the radiators still weren't working. What a figure for 50 euros... very bad sensitivity towards of customers and especially towards two small children...shame!"

"Nice spouse, just outside Poppi, near a country railway station ( which does not bother at all)... Great breakfast, with very good cakes prepared by the young owner ... For perfect only the air conditioning, But with decent temperatures you are still well! Recommended!!"
