This is a secluded location on a dead end gravel road across from the trailhead of Indian kitchen in the Shawnee national Forest. The house sits on 63 acres and has no visible neighbors. This is located in the heart of the Shawnee national Forest only 30 minutes from garden of the gods also 30 minutes from ferncliff. This place was absolutely amazing!! We wanted a secluded, relaxing weekend, and that’s exactly what we got!! Jared offered helpful information and responded immediately to my questions. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Definitely worth the 4 hour drive. Hope to stay here again sometime!! 10/10.

This cabin was more than we had expected! We loved the secluded location, and enjoyed just sitting on the front porch looking at the property. It was very clean, and the furnishings were wonderful. We enjoyed horseback riding and hiking locally!

Quiet reclusive and perfect
This cabin is cosy yet spacious and comfortable, lots of outdoor space and beautiful scenery close to a forest.

The cabin looked even better in person than in the pictures! It was beautiful, renovated, and clean. We had a large group of 8 adults stay for one evening and the space was plenty. The location was quiet, and just as secluded as advertised. Would highly recommend!

Weekend getaway
This property was so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was beautifully decorated. One of our family members has a walker, and had no problem getting around the lower level and out onto the deck.

Wonderful location and cabin!
Beautiful cabin located deep in the Shawnee National Forest. Very secluded, which we loved!Cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay! Beds and living room furniture very comfortable!. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Turkey hunting trip
The cabin, location and owner were great during our Turkey hunting trip. We had plenty of room for ten guys. Owner was great and responded immediately when we reached out. Found out the owner also owns Shotgun Eddie’s, which had excellent food and cold drinks. We will be returning and would highly recomend.
