The family is present, gracious and generous with their time. Exploring the area was full of beautiful vistas, great food and laughter as we tried to speak our barely acceptable Spanish. Consider staying during the spring and/or fall as it is not as busy then. Thank you to Beatriz and her lovely mother for the welcome and laughs."

"There are two types of accommodation here, one being hostel style dormitories then there are two apartments, which is where we stayed for 4 nights. There were only two of us but there is also a bed settee which seemed fairly comfortable and there is air conditioning. The price of the apartments were very reasonable so the dormitories must be very cheap . The place was clean , tidy and we had cooking/refrigeration/ sink which we barely used as we ate out. The hotel also has a simple restaurant/café/bar which had good ,fairly basic food but very reasonably priced and opens from breakfast through to the night. There are other restaurants in the town which is just 5 minutes walk over the river on the beautiful medieval bridge. All the staff were very helpful and the owner/manager superb , we had a great time there."

"Excellent. No idea why this is a 1 star- it was lovely. Perfect location just above Combarro which is a picture perfect little fishing village. The hotel is clean, well equipped and has ample parking, good wifi, views over the river, a bar and a pool. Very friendly owner, even though we booked last minute. Really recommended if you like authentic Galicia with comfort."
