"The area and facility are beautiful, but unfortunately I can't say the same about the staff and services. This year was our third 7-night stay and also our last. The kindness and hospitality have disappeared; you get the feeling that foreign guests come before Italians, and this is very wrong. Foreigners are just passing through; if we Italians are treated well, we return every year! The staff seems stressed and dissatisfied, no good mornings, and if you ask a (simple) request, the response often goes unanswered. There's practically no Wi-Fi; they have problems in all the facilities. The Vintage has nice beds, but the mattresses are as thick as a palm, it feels like sleeping on the floor. At La Bottega, we bought wine, jams, and other items, but the staff didn't even smile or say a word of welcome. Gentlemen, if you work with the public and then have trouble interacting with people, why not change your career? Interns at the reception desk who only speak English—another comical twist here! We're in Italy, and I understand that foreigners come here, but a bilingual person who at least understands and speaks Italian would be appreciated! That said, I thank you all the same and hope for an overall improvement."

"Very excited when I got there but the A/C did not work and the room was dirty. Went to the pool and it said it was open till 10:00 and at 9:00 we were asked to get out. There is no one ate reception you have to scream to get somebody down. Arrived at the restaurant and there was no meat only pasta and tomato sauce and did not even get the food because they gave it to someone else and never ate since there is nothing around to eat."

"My family stayed here for 2 nights after a bad experience in Florence. This gem was located in the hills of Tuscany. The staff as well as owner and son made our experience incredibly calming and welcoming. They made sure we were comfortable went out of their way to assist us and the food at the restaurant was fantastic! The pool, cleanliness of the rooms, environment, the cab services, the beautiful horses near the restaurant all made our stay one to remember. And it is only a 45 minute bus ride to the centre of Florence! Thank you....we plan to return!!!"

"Extremely nice place to stay, but the restaurant was a big dissapointment. Menù looked very promising, BUT Extremely salty food, dry pork. When mentioned to the chef the answer was " I tasted, it's ok for me" . Quite arrogant attitude i have to say. The bread and wine were good."
