1905 Zino's Palace

Beautiful, historic small hotel. Wonderful staff and great food. We rented a car, which we found to be a great way to get around.

A Lovely Place for a Short Break This is a unique property and it makes for a lovely quiet break. It takes a bit of bravery to drive up the narrow street to the hillside location - don't hire a big car. But a car is essential, as there is little close by. Even the walk to and from the very rocky beach isn't for the faint hearted (and that isn't by the steeper direct walking route). Our superior sea view room was small but lovely. However at the top of the building the windows are tiny - a great sea view, but for one person at a time. The pool is tiny and would look crowded if more than two got in at any one time. Oh and the loungers are really uncomfortable - but then why would you stay by the pool all day? It's not that kind of place. What is great here is the food and the service. Whether it's the simple but perfect buffet breakfast, or the wonderful quality of the dinner in the restaurant. And indeed the snack menu by the pool if you do choose to brave the loungers. Absolutely yum, every time. The menu doesn't change though, so choose this place for a short break, not a long holiday as I imagine it could get boring. The staff are all young, but so helpful friendly and not over eager. Perfectly pitched. This is a wonderful place to base yourself if you want to travel around during the day, but return in the evening to a beautiful meal and a calm romantic atmosphere.

Zion’s Palace is charming and comfortable. The rooms were lovely. We went all over the island throughout the day, but were very happy to return to our hotel at night. The staff was welcoming and helpful. They responded quickly to all communication. The breakfast was delightful. They had a great spread of breads, meats, cheese, fruit and jams/honeycomb and the chef made eggs for us. We stayed three nights and had early plans for two of the days, so they had some breakfast sent to our rooms the night before for us. I thought that was a kind gesture. We also ate dinner in the restaurant one night and it was very good. The patio has a wonderful view for sunset. They have extra parking that was easy to park in. Overall, we loved our experience.

Unique property with great attention to detail. Thoroughly enjoyed dinners on the patio overlooking the ocean. Staff were very attentive and made sure the experience was enjoyable. Location is well suited for day trips throughout the northern and western parts on the island.
