Excellent and no words can hide the beauty of the hotel transformation from Old hospital. Good location for easy commute and connecting all travels. We recommend this hotel.

The hotel should be on your must stay list. The location can’t be beat. A very short walk to the town centre for shops and restaurants. Our room was huge and very well appointed. The amenities were upscale and smelled fantastic. Plenty of room for closet space and storage. A bar fridge came in handy too. The staff are wonderful especially the man who worked the restaurant in the evenings. Well done.

Well located hotel. Excellent rehabilitation of the old building. Very friendly reception team. Relatively small room. Closet with ants. Weak breakfast. Yeast cake not fresh. Nespresso capsules for decaf only. A lot of people for little space.

Excelente localização, excelente estadia. Comecemos pela Simpatia e assistência de todos os colaboradores sempre com um sorriso. Depois um excelente conforto nos quartos, o hotel também super bem decorado. Os pequenos almoços são muito bons. Agradeço e bem hajam. Com saudades para voltar Manuel e Manuela Marques

Este ano regressar a S. Miguel foi marcado pela permanência num claustro de franciscanos, que agora é a piscina, mas ainda se faz notar pelas silenciosas paredes que a rodeiam. Staff espectacular, sempre atentos. Destacamos a gerente que fez questão de se fazer conhecer e averiguar as nossas necessidades, situação excepcional! localização próxima ao centro da capital, acesso a diversas formas entretenimento e cultura. Os quartos são alcatifados com um material que provoca um relaxamento instantâneo, após retirar os sapatos! além de serem enormes e com vista para o claustro (piscina).

Fuimos a cenar el viernes 6 de septiembre del 2024, el edificio tiene mucha historia y es muy bonito, pues primero había sido Hospital después colegio y finalmente hotel. Mejor cenar a primera hora pues los platos que se iban acabando en el buffet pocos se reponían. Nuestra sorpresa fue, que nos apareció una cucaracha corriendo debajo de la mesa, intenté pisarla, pero se me subió por encima del mocasín me pegué un susto enorme, rápidamente me quité el zapato y después la maté. Vino a disculparse la Maitre del restaurante y me dijo que algunas veces aparecían este tipo de cucarachas y era difícil su eliminación. Me preguntó si podía hacer alguna cosa después de lo sucedido y le dije que no, que podía hacer? Pagamos y nos fuimos. Es una lástima, pero ya no volveremos a repetir. Los platos fueron normalitos, pero me fui con mal sabor de boca .

Le bâtiment, historique, est superbe, surtout le lobby, qui est majestueux. Piscine centrale vaste ( environ 20 mètres de long), et très agréable. l'hôtel raconte par sa décoration soignée la découverte, passionnante, des Açores. La chambre standard est vaste, confortable : moquette épaisse, serviettes moelleuses, bonne literie. Cependant les châssis et le vitrage ne sont pas d'assez bonne qualité, car on entend dès le matin les bruits de la circulation, si vous donnez sur rue. Le petit déjeuner correspond à ce qu'on peut attendre d'un hôtel international de bon standing - sans surprise donc-, mais je trouve que les produits locaux manquaient, et surtout, 2 jours de suite, la machine à café était en panne, donc impossible d'avoir un expresso ou un thé ( ce qui n'est quand même que de l'eau chaude). A la place un serveur distribuait un mauvais café filtre et pas d'autre choix. Et l'accueil au petit déjeuner n'était pas très chaleureux. Bref il y a des points à revoir de ce côté là. Du coup, nous n'avons pas eu envie de tester le restaurant ni le bar. Néanmoins, c'est un hôtel très agréable.

Ein wirklich gutes Hotel. Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt ist super, ebenso die kostenlosen Parkplätze. Das Hotel wurde 2023 umfassend renoviert. Der Eingangsbereich macht schon was her, genauso wie die Pools - sehr schön gemacht. Der Service ist super, das Frühstück gibt einem alles was man braucht. Nette Angestellte erfüllen einem die Wünsche. Ein kleiner Punktabzug sind die fehlenden Abstellmöglichkeiten im Zimmer (4. Stock) und dass die Klimaanlage einem genau auf das Bett bläst. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Hotel, gerne wieder.

Dans un très beau bâtiment ancien, cet hôtel s’articule autour d’une très jolie piscine, la piscine intérieure est très relaxante, dommage que le hammam fonctionnait mal. On a apprécié d’avoir des peignoirs, tongs et serviettes de bain mis à disposition. Les chambres sont modernes et spacieuses, un bémol pour le canapé lit dont le matelas est trop fin et inconfortable, notre fille y a mal dormi et avait mal au dos. Le petit déjeuner était satisfaisant et complet. Par contre, on avait pris la demi-pension et on a regretté: c’était presque niveau cantine(4/5 entrées basiques qui n’ont jamais changé, quelques choix de plats se ressemblants soir après soir et un buffet de desserts basique). L’accueil est professionnel, le personnel a toujours le sourire. L’hôtel est bien situé d’avant le fort et à peine 12/13 mn du centre commerçant, plus loin de la zone du port. On a apprécié cet hôtel mais pas au point d’y retourner.
