Excellent and no words can hide the beauty of the hotel transformation from Old hospital. Good location for easy commute and connecting all travels. We recommend this hotel.

Love this hotel!
We loved our family stay at Vila Gale! Wonderful, considerate, thoughtful and kind staff, comfortable rooms and a beautiful environment. We look forward to staying here again!

Vila Gale Collection S. Miguel is a beautiful historic hotel in Ponta Delgada. From the moment you walk thru the front doors you are wowed with the grand staircase and then a over the top welcome greeting by the front desk person who made sure every question we had got answered. The room was spacious and walked out to the grand balcony. Really nothing but positive vibes while staying here. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh omelets and a great selection of items.

Schönes neues Hotel mit super Poolbereich
Ein wirklich schönes neues und imposantes Hotel.
Die Öffnungszeiten von Pool und Fitnesscenter könnten deutlich länger sein, von 8 bis 20 Uhr ist einfach zu wenig wenn man wie wir tagsüber zu Ausflügen unterwegs ist. Trotzdem ist der Poolberreich wunderschön.
Das Frühstücksbuffett hat uns nicht vollständig überzeugt. Die Sauberkeit des Geschirrs war suboptimal, täglich hatte man einige Teller, die trotz Geschirrspüler offensichtlich nicht ganz sauber wurden.

Lovely friend staff but very disappointed meal , wine from list not available, soup cold , main course inedible - had to send back- slow cooked beef too tough to even cut. Did offer another meal but we declined. Other meal in party. Only mediocre

Grande investimento deste Grupo na recuperação de um convento do século XVI como em Elvas ou Braga. Estes investidores que recuperam o nosso patrimonio historico dando lhes vida com a actividade de hotelaria, devem ser apoiados pelos Governos. Pontos fracos: -Pequeno almoço sem buffet. Artigos sem qualidade, sem sabor, e frio. -Não existe uma sala de estar. Num edificio desta dimensão. Com o avultado investimento aplicado e não pensaram numa sala de estar. -O mobiliário da sala de pequeno almoço, mesas e cadeiras tipo café, não se coadunam com a dignidade do edificio. -Quarto fantástico, 306, áreas enormes mas no WC não existe nem bidé ou duche higiénico. Recomenfo este Grupo Vila Galé.
