Wonderful renovated motor lodge. Super clean and spacious, comfortable king bed, good bathroom and shower, fridge / microwave, all in excellent condition. Owner was kind and accommodating and provided good local tips. Breakfast at Flamimgo food truck next was delicious. Also, Elevation Beer company was down the road and fun with good food truck. 5 minutes to Salida by car, We had a great stay and highly recommend.

What an incredible find, just by chance! We were on our way to Durango from Denver Airport and looked for a place to lay our weary bodies for the night. The Lodge at Poncha Springs is truly that small town cozy venue you hope to find when traveling. The room was super clean, bed was comfy, pillows are fluffy, and the TV worked perfectly. Oh, the owner lights up a firepit in the evenings and encourages all guests to sit around and relax. Jimmy, one of the owners, gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. Every place he suggested to go, turned out to be delish.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Poncha Springs, had a wonderful time at nearby Salida where they held an evening music in the park. Restaurants there were great. Also enjoyed walking along the river. The management at the lodge was great, rooms were clean (a bit small) but well kept.

The check-in was seamless, and the host was extremely kind and great conversation. Let you know what places you might wanna visit or eat at walk you to your room and the out door patio was sooo cute. Couldn’t have been a nicer stay for a short overnight between stops

We requested a quiet room and booked two nights several months in advance. We were given room 13 right in front on the highway. When I inquired was told the traffic was quiet at night. Nope! If you travel with ear plugs, an eye mask for light through the window in the door and are short (see photo of sink height) this is your place. The usable patio was in the back of our building and neglected. The plus was the owner lent us a reading light and the housekeeping lady was very nice.

Had a great stay at the Lodge! Stayed in a Queen room which was really cute and very clean although small. Spent most of the time in the beautiful courtyard, in the shade during the day or by the firepit at night. It was a great place to meet other guests. Lovely stay!

This motel is just lovely. The fire pit in the courtyard is a special touch. The owner is a lovely person and was invested in making this a great stay. The room was tiny, but they had bigger rooms available if needed. It worked just fine for us. Would definitely stay again!
