location of the hotel is good, only a few minutes from the flix bus station, and a few more minutes to the train station. about 15 minutes walk to the Pompeii entrance.
(side remark about the pompeii archeological park, when you walk towards the entrance, there will be a lot of people telling you all the things to lure you to join their tour or get a skip the line tickets and audio and etc. don't believe in what they say. just reserve your ticket from the website or get it at the entrance.)
the hotel staff are very friendly, gave us a map and told us the relevant info of the pompei town, where to eat, where is the stations, and etc. breakfast is also good.
the room is a bit old and the bathroom is really small. maybe there are some better rooms but the one we booked was small.

Non ho mai avuto un'esperienza peggiore di questa, a cominciare da quando una signora anziana risponde al telefono con modi sgarbati. E cosi è stato anche di persona, comunque all'arrivo ci fa pagare subito, va bene pago e andiamo in camera. In tanti alberghi visitati non ho mai visto una camera peggiore di quella, sporca, prese di corrente aperte, bagno strettissimo. Ritorno alla reception chiedendo se avessero una camera migliore e dove funzionasse il wi-fi, niente da fare la signora comincia a infastidirsi e chiama un uomo che non parlava neanche bene l'italiano con modi molto sgarbati. Chiedo il rimborso, in quanto non ho utilizzato la camera, mi dice no mi vada a denunciare. Non la denuncio ho perso i soldi ma tutti devono sapere.

We went to Pompeii ideally to a different hotel, but was let down and told we didn’t have a booking. We then found this hotel and they were so accommodating. They gave us 2 rooms on 5 mins notice. Very polite and beautiful place to stay. I would Definitely recommend.

Très bonne option pour visiter Pompéi. Accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire. L'établissement est bien situé, au calme avec sa cour ombragée et possibilité de laisser sa voiture dedans pour visiter le centre ville et le Parc archéologique qui sont atteignables à pied.

L’hotel si trova proprio nel centro di Pompei ed è comodissimo ad ogni tipo di servizio. Dispone di un parcheggio privato davanti all’hotel. Il personale è disponibile, simpatico e accogliente. Per chi vuole visitare Pompei e il Vesuvio è assolutamente consigliato.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti all’Hotel Calypso, insieme al nostro cagnetto, e valutiamo molto positivamente la nostra esperienza. La posizione è davvero a due passi dall’ingresso “Anfiteatro” degli scavi. L’accoglienza calorosa, la cortesia e la disponibilità della proprietaria, della figlia e dello staff ci hanno fatto sentire a casa, permettendoci di sostare anche qualche oretta in più nella sala colazione (arredata con gusto e tocco decó), in attesa di una videocall di lavoro. Consigliatissimo!
