The things the hotel could do better is that their staff generally don't understand English. We got the wrong pizza...The hotel's private beach and jetty were also used by local people, which was annoying."

"The location is terrible, in the middle of nowhere. Shuttle buses are rare, and seats aren't guaranteed. Taxis take at least half an hour to get, and are incredibly expensive. Breakfast is served on the rooftop, which is drafty and always cold. The room was incredibly small, with very basic amenities, resembling a two-star hotel in China. The shower was weak and not enclosed, leaving cold water all over the floor. Absolutely terrible review, absolutely avoid this place!"

"I had the pleasure of returning to Apulia 70 holidays with a group of 12 friends. The accommodations were wonderful. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a choice of delicious foods at breakfast each day carefully selected by Dany. He was a wonderful host. The location was excellent, very close to the sea walk and old town. Vito, our host, was always available to assist with daily activities and transportation. He even accompanied one of our group to her hometown of Grumo, where she reconnected with her family for the first time. Thank you to Vito and Dany for welcoming us like family. Apulia 70 Holidays is the place to stay in Polignano A Mare, and a great location to see all of Puglia."

"A new favorite stay in Italy, really made our trip to this region amazing. This hidden gem is like entering a private member’s club. Really appreciated coming in from the heat and summer craze into this calm and beautiful space. So lucky we found it, really luxe, spacious rooms that were clean and designed meticulously with everything high quality, beds, linens, hardware, all of it enhancing our experience. We first stayed in the Firestone suite and then in Twins. Each room had its own, totally different vibe, which we thought was cool. Marina at reception was really lovely. The terrace was so fantastic. Loved watching the sun sets up there. We enjoyed the pool. Right in the historic center across from the charming church, with the best spots literally just few steps away. And the famous beach here, just a 3 min walk from the property. Thank you Duchess, we felt really cared for."

"My advice: Avoid this overpriced tourist trap. If only I'd read the reviews first. It's a tourist trap in a lovely location. As soon as we sat down I regretted my decision to eat there. We were placed on a table in a set formation with no particular view. And when they said they don't permit one person to have a la carte and the other a set menu the alarm bells started ringing. Why impose that restriction on customers? Service was friendly enough but we felt like we were in a production line. Food is mediocre at best. Scallops were cold and overcooked. Sea bass was actually excellent in fairness. BUT they offered us three fixed price menus, and here's the the banger, they are 280-300 EUR each before drinks. We ended up paying, for the two of us, 700 Euros for a poor food experience. They are basically exploiting tourists. On the upside if all you want is fancy photos then you'll get them."
