The manger at this hotel is terrible. She was rude and unhelpful. I chose a specific room (with a large arching windows and a window seat) as advertised online and was then given a shabby room next door with dreary grey walls and poor light. I asked the manager to move me to the room I paid for and she refused, said they were fully booked, said she had to go and hung up on me! I checked online and there were openings. Each day I watched new people check into my room next door from my balcony.

The lodge, the grounds, and the location are wonderful. The staff was extremely helpful. Close proximity to Point Reyes Station with some great eateries and coffee/pastry shops and the best cheeses on the planet, is a big plus. Not to mention being right next door to one of the nation's great national seashores! The hotel grounds, sloping down to Olema Creek are something rare, with many nice sitting areas/fire pits.

From room to service to the backyard with the fire pit, it's been one of our most appreciated experiences in the West Coast. It was great to have the restaurant next to the Olema House as well. Coffee and tea are available in a wonderful room on the lower floor.

We had an amazing stay here. The grounds were beautiful with a nice space for guests to relax in the lounge and out by the fire pit. The restaurant was very good too.

Everything was great! The whole Property is so beautiful and well kept...rooms and staff are just super nice and helpful.Breakfast option is small but sufficient!

Delightful weekend getaway - we had the best time at Olema House! The room was very comfortable and is clearly well kept, the hotel grounds are peaceful and provide many great places to read or have a drink, and the staff at Olema were extremely kind. The location is also ideal - easy to get the nearby downtown as well as to drive up the coast of Tomales Bay to great restaurants along the water. We will be back!

Beautiful property and room, little touches like s'mores (which we unfortunately missed due to late night arrival) and a bottle of wine in our room were so nice. We arrived late at night, and Mel greeted us warmly and made us feel so welcome! Would definitely love to come back. We only had one night since we were passing through.

I LOVED this place! The staff was amazing, such a cute boutique hotel, with a modern vibe and beautiful scenery. I loved the food at the tavern, and s'mores at night, and the red wine was good too! The hotel was very clean and updated and I stayed in the lakeside king terrace with the patio. The grounds on the hotel very clean and well lit at night. It is away from most things and the tavern closes at 8:30pm I believe and the market earlier, so a great place to wind down and relax and step away from the busy city life. I definitely will return and I can't wait to come back. Hopefully for a longer stay next time!
