The manger at this hotel is terrible. She was rude and unhelpful. I chose a specific room (with a large arching windows and a window seat) as advertised online and was then given a shabby room next door with dreary grey walls and poor light. I asked the manager to move me to the room I paid for and she refused, said they were fully booked, said she had to go and hung up on me! I checked online and there were openings. Each day I watched new people check into my room next door from my balcony.

We stayed at the Olema House as part of a trip to the Sonoma Wine Country. The room (#16) was modern and had an amazing view of the property grounds and the forested hills. They provide a lot of nice extras like complimentary wine, communal sitting areas and a fire pit to toast smores. They have plenty of onsite Tesla EV chargers. The onsite restaurant and bar affiliated with the hotel has an excellent menu. Best of all, the property is five minutes from the Point Reyes National Seashore Bear Valley visitor center.

The location was amazing, close to a little town and lovely hiking trails. The grounds were also beautiful. It felt like a retreat! The special touches, like the fire pit and smore fixings, as well as the included bottle of wine, helped set the mood. We also really appreciated the Happy Anniversary message and champagne!

Olema House was a great place to stay during our visit to Point Reyes. The room was extremely comfortable. The Market coffee shop was a wonderful casual place for breakfast. We would recommend Due West and The Station House Cafe for great food! Overall, a wonderful experience!

The Olema house is beautiful, the grounds are amazing! The garden room that we had was small and quaint, well appointed. The room was a little hot, we didn’t expect 80 degrees in October! The front desk staff was amazing, very accommodating and helpful! The s’mores at night was a nice touch.
