I stayed at Manoir de Kerhuel for a few days to attend my friend’s wedding. I really loved the place, it’s beautiful and unique. The food was delicious and the service was great. The staff were very friendly and made sure all our requests were met quickly.

So, how you view this is up to you. We were making a stop on the way back to Roscoff. We couldn’t check in until 5pm due to a wedding. That was up front not a surprise & not a really big deal. Restaurant was closed, also stated (either on a “we’ve been busy with a wedding” basis or “this is France, get over it” basis). OK no big deal. Thus no bar either. It’s not exactly convenient for other choices of activity. However, this is not a cheap hotel c€140 for the night and so, as it had very few guests, personally i’d have thought of upgrading the ones they had to make up for the above. Our room was in the attic basically. The windows required you to step up 2 steps to be able to get on tiptoes to look out. It was pretty small. The bed was comfortable and the shower was also really good, with quality products. We used the pool and sauna, albeit a little later than we’d have normally planned, and both were good. We didn’t pay extra and have breakfast and so can’t comment on restaurant. The building is beautiful as are the gardens. A beautiful setting for the wedding. Access is by code entry after 9pm as reception closes at that time - unusual for a hotel in this category but not a big issue. Beautiful, comfortable but limited would be my overall comment

Nous avons été invités à un mariage au manoir. Chambres, parties communes, cadre, dîner, service, un sans faute! Nous avons passés un moment hors du temps que même la météo capricieuse n’est pas parvenue à gâcher! Ne pas hésiter pour une grande occasion!

Hôtel très agréable dans un écrin de verdure au calme. Chambre très propre et agréable, nous avons apprécié l’accès à la piscine et au sauna. Le restaurant propose une cuisine de qualité, il y a du travail dans les assiettes. Une belle carte des vins pour accompagner le tout. Enfin le personnel est particulièrement accueillant, à l’écoute et répond rapidement aux demandes. Cet établissement vaut le détour. Nous recommandons vivement !

Nous avions réservé pour 4 nuits la chambre du pigeonnier Nous avons effectivement été pris pour des pigeons !!! Pour accéder à la chambre il faut grimper un escalier certes joli mais envahi par les lauriers humides de rosée qui vous mouillent copieusement Une fois dans la chambre le lit occupe tout l’espace au point de devoir se faufiler pour y accéder Il n’y a même pas la place pour une table de nuit ni rien pour accrocher vos vêtements, ni cintres we En revanche la salle de bains est correcte à part le wc trônant en évidence avec les bruits et les odeurs ! Très romantique Une impression de cachot ou prison dans une chambre pourvu d’une seule petite meurtrière et une demie porte N’arrivez pas un dimanche après-midi, aucun service n’est disponible, pas même le bar et il n’y a pas de minibar dans la chambre Aucun arrangement ni compensation possible Nous avons quitté l’hôtel au bout de deux nuits complètement claustrophobe et dépité A NE PAS RENOUVELER

Séjour en semaine de 3 nuitées très agréable, très calme. Le restaurant était excellent avec des plats vraiment originaux. La piscine dans le jardin en-dessous est un plus. La chambre était très spacieuse.
Un petit bémol : pas de ventilation mécanique fonctionnelle dans la salle de bains ; il fallait donc bien aérer par les fenêtres... pas difficile par beau temps...

We had a really magical stay here, the service was incredible as was the setting. Every meal we had here was delicious, there was true passion in the kitchen. I would recommend ensuring that you get a room with a view as ours was limited.
