We love Las Rocas Resort! We stayed there about three weeks while waiting for our condo lease in Rosarito to start. We really felt pampered. The resort is older, but furnishings are nice. There is a restaurant for breakfast (and wonderful Sunday brunches!) and a palapa restaurant that opens at 3:00. We frequented both and were treated to yummy dinners and awesome live music at night. Additionally there is a bar and a smaller stool bar and a specialty coffee bar. Two pools, and the views are really beautiful, but one of the Resort’s best features is the staff. They all put smiles on our faces every day and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. In fact, we miss them so much that we have decided to visit the resort for meals at least every few weeks. Be aware that there is no elevator and you’ll need to take some half-flights of stairs to get to your room. But they’ll help with luggage. Also, the least expensive rooms do not include a fridge or microwave, but the deluxe rooms do, and are very reasonably priced for weekday stays. For the best rates, I recommend booking direct for weekday stays (free full breakfast and two free marqheritas and discounted dinners!) and using a booking platform for weekend stays.

The resort is very chill and has all the amenities one needs. On that note, the spa where the infinity pool was out of commission as well as the top river feature adjacent. The views are fantastic, but know that sunset is more north and sets over the hillside and not the ocean view. Breakfast was great, drinks were as expected. The bed did not have a topper on it and was hard as a rock, I went to the front desk and was given a different room 3 days later. The best thing about staying here is the location in between Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo. From my experience, foreign tourists on the weekend, a local vibe during the week.

This dated hotel was supposed to be a top notch. My had to wait 2 hours early in the morning in order to get water on the shower, we were on the 4th floor, but that should not be an excuse. We had an important appointment to attend and this gave my wife unnecessary stress. The included breakfast at the restaurant was decent, it does not include drinks, thiugh. You need to pay for your coffee.

If you are like me and want to try something new and different, then Las Rocas Resort & Spa is for you! The resort is quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. It is on the cliffs, and every room overlooks the ocean. The food, spa, and staff are excellent, and my wife and I will be returning.
