Mexico is close to the border, this is the closest resort, the environment is very good, the food is really great.
And if you want to party in the middle of the night, there is a party in the hotel, no need to worry about danger

El hotel tiene cierto aspecto a 'viejo', definitivamente no es de alta gama, pero el servicio es fantástico. La cocina en sus restaurantes -La Palapa y Úrsula-, es exquisita, y el Personal se esmera porque tengas una experiencia muy agradable. Recibimos un excelente servicio, especialmente de Christian, Jack y Guillermo, quienes realmente se esmeraron por hacer de nuestra estancia una gran experiencia. Las habitaciones muy espaciosas, limpias y equipadas, con un refrigerador pequeño, cafetera, amenities de buena calidad, agua caliente, secadora, etc. Quizá me gustaría un poco más de almohadas, algo más para cubrirte del frío, y en la habitación de PB entra mucha luz en la noche por el pequeño cancel de vidrio de la puerta. En conclusión, la pasamos increíble, y creo que con pocos detalles podría ser muchísimo mejor.

The resort is very chill and has all the amenities one needs. On that note, the spa where the infinity pool was out of commission as well as the top river feature adjacent. The views are fantastic, but know that sunset 🌅 is more north and sets over the hillside and not the ocean view. Breakfast was great, drinks were as expected. The bed did not have a topper on it and was hard as a rock, I went to the front desk and was given a different room 3 days later. The best thing about staying here is the location in between Rosarito and Puerto Nuevo. From my experience, foreign tourists on the weekend, a local vibe during the week.

Bring an extra pillow The beds are OK, I slept well There was a high school graduation function, the hot tub was FULL every evening so I never used it Food at the restaurant was fine. I turned my American Breakfast (free) into an omlette. Then toast was changed to fruit, all good. We ate two evening meals, both were excellent. Not fast, but well prepared.

When your going to enjoy the pool you have to go to the lobby and ask for a towel. (Good luck if they even have any on hand) the second night that we where there they didn't have any all day.

This dated hotel was supposed to be a top notch. My had to wait 2 hours early in the morning in order to get water on the shower, we were on the 4th floor, but that should not be an excuse. We had an important appointment to attend and this gave my wife unnecessary stress. The included breakfast at the restaurant was decent, it does not include drinks, thiugh. You need to pay for your coffee.
