Best breakfast in town with plenty of healthy and sporty options. Best gym I have seen in a hotel since a while. Pool area and bar is great. Wifi is fast. Rooms are a bit small and the bathroom way too small. Convenient location, all easy to reach and yet at nighttime not much noise.

I found that the breakfast was very good with some choice, the pool is large, good atmosphere. However, a hotel where there are a lot of Germans, no French at all. For the room, the floor was full of sand, never cleaned, the phone in the room does not work, no room service. The toilet door is not a door, there is no privacy, it is a sliding door that closes halfway. Impossible to plug in a straightener + a hair dryer, you will blow the power ... The maid who comes into the room twice in a row at 9 a.m., when we had left a note to say that we were in the room. In short, a decent hotel for the location, the pool and the food, but not for the rest. It is not a hotel that I will return to. Too bad because the location is decent but the most important things are not respected.

A renovated hotel, beautiful and modern common areas, but the rooms need updating... Very old floors, smell of pipes... But very comfortable beds!!

The music sometimes turns off late, but it's all good, here you go to bed very late. The breakfast is the best I've seen in my life, abundant, incredible. The rooms have weak soundproofing. Rude neighbor, slams the door very loudly at midnight. But it is an excellent hotel!

A hotel near Ballermann, just a few steps away. The coolest place is the pool where a DJ plays every day. The drinks at the bar are delicious and the breakfast is fresh and varied. Lunch is also very tasty. One drawback is that the rooms are very noisy and the showers need to be reworked, the water flows out of the shower and floods the room. Employees at the lobby are very nice and friendly.

The hotel is very close to the Bierkönig, yet away from the noise. The renovation work was only carried out superficially.

I was a little worried after reading some negative reviews, but I can honestly say my stay was great. The pool sun beds are so comfy, thick mattress material. The breakfast was fantastic starts 08:00am to 10:30am, they have a fantastic range of healthy cerials, with so many different toppings, lovely fresh fruit, bread, pastries and hot food, meat, cheese and salads also. The room bed was really comfy and the room was made up daily with fresh towels, the shower was fantastic, I didn't want to get out, the hotel provides shampoo/body wash also. The pool DJ plays chilled house music throughout the day, there is a pool bar which is reasonably priced. The hotel is a very short walk from the beach, resturants and bars, I reccomend Mega Park Club and Bierkonig for a good night out. The check out is 11:00am there is a luggage room if leaving later. I really liked the wristband with door key on it, this saves the panic of leaving the key card in the room. My only one gripe would be to have a kettle in the room as I wake up early and love a coffee in the morning, I would of taken a travel kettle but I only took hand luggage. Thanks Caramello for a great stay.

Response from Property: Dear Rachel, Thank you very much for choosing Caramelo Palma Beach and taking the time to leave us a nice comment. We are constantly working to provide our guests with a better service. We have changed the concept of the hotel this year and the truth is that everything is going very well so far! The breakfast, without a doubt, is one of the strongest points we have in the hotel. The atmosphere of the pool is created for the guest to spend most of the time there and to find fun in the pool. We will keep the kettle in mind for future bookings. As a 3 star hotel, there are services that are not required to be provided. However, we could discuss it again if you choose us again :) We look forward to seeing you again soon. Best regards, Guest Relations.

Looks ok to start! Never again! We left 2 days early due to my husband tripping over just down the road. I was bitten badly from bed bugs. Didn't even check our bands to see if they owed us any euros back. Hotel not helpful couldnt use the shower as it was not safe room so small.
Response from Property: Dear Susan, First of all, the entire team at Caramelo Palma Beach would like to thank you for sharing this review about your stay with us. We’re sorry that your holiday had to end earlier than expected and hope your husband has fully recovered from his fall. Regarding the refund, we experienced a minor issue with the system that processes reimbursements, but it should now be resolved. We were surprised by your comment about the bites. At Caramelo, we follow strict disinfection and hygiene protocols, as guest health and safety are our top priority. Additionally, after inspecting the room, we found no signs of any insects. We hope you had a smooth journey home. Best regards, Team Caramelo

The hotel has a fun, lively atmosphere, and the pool area gives off great vibes — definitely a highlight of the stay. Breakfast was also very enjoyable, and one of the staff members who helped us hire a car was absolutely lovely. However, the rooms were a major letdown. They were extremely dark, making it nearly impossible to do makeup properly. The air conditioning was ineffective — it seemed to be part of a central system rather than individual units, and the room never cooled below 26°C, which made sleeping very uncomfortable. When we raised concerns about the aircon, the response was quite defensive, with staff offering various excuses rather than solutions. One staff member on the night shift was particularly rude and unhelpful — even simple requests like accessing the luggage storage were met with eye-rolls and attitude. The rooms themselves felt quite scruffy. The flooring looked unfinished, the balcony door didn’t lock, and the walls were very thin — we could hear everything from neighbouring rooms. The food outside of breakfast was average at best, and overall, the room quality really detracted from the experience. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless the air conditioning and room conditions were significantly improved.

Absolutely Disgusting – Stay Away at All Costs! ⭐️ 1/5 (only because 0 isn’t possible) Where do I even begin? This was hands down the WORST hotel experience of my life, and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. First, the room. We walked in to find dirty, stained towels & sheets that looked like they hadn’t been washed. The air conditioning unit is covered in BLACK MOULD, making it nearly impossible to breathe without coughing or getting a headache. The bar staff were shockingly rude, rolling their eyes at the simplest questions and acting like we were bothering them by ordering and correcting their drinks. And don’t expect any kind of peaceful sleep—drunk guests were screaming and fighting until 4 AM every single night, and the walls might as well have been made of paper. To top it all off, the so-called “security guard” harassed us repeatedly about not wearing a wristband—even though the receptionist told us we didn’t need one since we were staying long-term. He made a scene, embarrassed us in front of other guests, and even followed us around reception like we were criminals. It felt more like a prison than a holiday. The hotel itself is falling apart photos online are completely misleading. What you get in real life is a far cry from the edited, bright images they use to lure you in. If your planning to come here to relax please don't! We left feeling more stressed and disgusted than when we arrived. Avoid this hotel like the plague. Spend your money anywhere else—you’ll thank yourself and me!

The good: The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The rooms are stylish and have basic amenities. The pool area was lovely and it was never hard to get a lounger. The balcony (not pool view) had a lovely view of the mountains. Your room key is a bracelet so you can't lose it! Breakfast was really nice, loads of options and was fresh. The bad: The aircon was useless - it was very warm in the room at night. The pool closes at 6pm which I think is a bit early. The beachy bit by the pool was closed the whole time we were there. The location: Very German. Every other guest was German, the menus in the hotel and in local restaurants came in Spanish, German and English. Not a bad thing - even the stag/hen dos were all tame. Most of the surrounding hotels were adult only, I barely saw any children our whole stay. It's a very close walk to a beautiful beach and a long row of shops/restaurants. Beers around €3-4, wine €5 and cocktails €11-15 There's a bus that'll take you into central Palma for €2, its less than 5 mins from the hotel. Not far from the Palma aquarium which I highly recommend. No whales or dolphins and the fish and coral all look so healthy.

How do I start. Service-Terrible its like they don’t even want you there, disgusting looks of all staff. Room- Worst room I’ve ever stayed in, bugs crawling all around, walls paper thin you can hear absolutely everything “They even put ear buds in ur room because they are aware of this” Food-Terrible not a wide variety and extortionate prices €10 for a drink Pool-Well it was shut for my whole holiday so can’t say much about it. Overall would never stay here again worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
Response from Property: Dear Danny, The whole team at Caramelo Palma Beach is truly sorry that your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We really appreciate you sharing your thoughts, even though we would have loved for you to leave with a better impression. We’re sorry if the service wasn’t up to standard. At Caramelo, we strive to make everyone feel welcome and enjoy their stay, and in your case, we clearly fell short. Regarding the room, we completely understand how frustrating it can be not to get a proper rest, and we take your feedback on board. As for the food and prices, we’re sorry they didn’t meet your expectations, though we always aim to strike a balance between quality and cost. We know that after an experience like this, it’s not easy to change your mind, but we truly hope you’ll give us another chance in the future to show you that we can live up to your expectations. Best regards, Team Caramelo

Wouldn’t come back here.. Seems to be a fully German party area - this was not mentioned on the TUI booking.. Dirty blood stained bedsheets, bed bugs, dirty bathrooms, floors dirty and COCKROACHES - rooms are dark for a reason. Woken up between 3am and 5am every morning with drunk Germans screaming in corridors, banging on our doors and walls while walking past. Rooms, corridors and elevators just seemed run down. To top it of intense sewage smell in room - apparently they’re aware of this issue, however it doesn’t seem to be sorted. Need a holiday after this holiday

We are constantly working to improve our service and your feedback is invaluable in this process. We are very sorry to hear that your stay at Cook's Club Palma Beach didn't meet your expectations. Once again, we thank you for your time and hope that in the future you will give us the opportunity to regain your trust so that we can provide you with a better experience and show you our commitment to excellent service. Cook’s Club Palma Beach. Misleading title as the Beach is approximately 8-10 minute walk from the hotel. Although the hotel has its own Little beach styled area. Reception area looks unfinished. Rooms are on the small side though clean and comfortable, Two negatives in the room are no extra pillows in the room, and the TV has Poor signal, if it does get signal, no English channels; only Spanish German, and Italian. Poolside with bar and music, okay with plenty of sun loungers (though we have visited out of season). The food in the restaurant I would score average to good with a varied menu This is our second visit to Playa de Palma and my first visit to the Cook’s club, Overall, the area caters mostly cater for German People. (If you close your eyes, you would think you were in Germany). and that’s one of the reasons I won’t be in a hurry to return and if I do wouldn’t book the Cook’s club again
Response from Property: Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay. We are constantly working to improve our services and your feedback is invaluable in this process, we appreciate your criticism and constructive comments which we will take into account. Regarding our location, we have Palma Beach in the name because the area where our hotel is located is Playa de Palma. The area is usually frequented by German clientele due to its lively character. We keep our hotel in a neutral tone as we are open to all nationalities without differences. Thank you again for your time and we hope that you will choose us again in the future to provide you with a better experience and demonstrate our commitment to service excellence.
