Labranda Alyssa Suite Hotel

We have recently returned from our third visit to this hotel. I completely agree with most of the previous good reports of this hotel - the spacious accommodation, the clean pool provision with ample sunbeds, the quiet and peaceful ambience of the whole site and its position away from, but easily accessible to, the town centre. However, 4* it is not. This is apparent on arrival when one is faced with two steep flights of stairs up to the front door. Does a porter appear to lend hand? No, nor will s/he ever. A fairly basic facility of a 4*in my opinion. Then there is the food and the canteen in which it is eaten. I'm sorry, it cannot be described as a restaurant as mealtimes resemble a free for all. The food is also average at best. Breakfast and the salad bar are the only redeeming features. Hot food at lunch and dinner is only warm, at best, and the options are limited. I don't think I ate one tender piece of meat the whole time we were there. As for a dress code - forget it. You might wonder why we came back for a third time. The position, its calm and peaceful accommodation areas are what persuaded us to try it again but will there be a fourth visit? No I'm afraid not.

I went with my girlfriend for valentines week for our all inclusive winter break and it was lovely, The staff are very friendly and the rooms are really nice and comfortable, The food was amazing for us salads,seafood,fresh grill,Quality.

As my husband has mobility problems this location was perfect, except for the entrance which has a lot of steps, but there is another entrance about 150 yds past hotel which we pulled cases up. All of the team in reception/restaurant and housekeeping were amazing , all so friendly and very helpful. We had our own private bungalow which was cleaned every day. Food was freshly cooked at every sitting and had a great selection. Something for everybody. Location is a little way out from the beautiful marina and the centre ,which can be walked,but not for us. We got taxis which was approx 6 euros. Entertainment for February consisted of a different singer each night. They were also good + we met such lovely people while we were there..7 days wasn't long enough. Definitely will be making a return visit.

From the minute we walked in we were hit with a strange unpleasant smell which carried from the reception into the restaurant area. It quiet frankly makes you retch. When we asked the staff what the smell was they added 298 other guests have not complained of course they haven.t Read your previous reviews on trip advisor we are not the first to mention this and probably wont be the last Needless to say the reception area was avoided for our four night stay and we only entered the restaurant to have toast and yoghurt of a morning everything else was sub standard this we done by bypassing the reception area and gaining access to the side of the restaurant.after spending almost £800 for all inclusive for four nights we opted to each out every night. Whilst the rooms are ok light and airey they are not cleaned. A false eyelash obviously left from a previous occupant remained under one of our beds for the entire stay. This leads me onto the beds. They are dreadful. If you moved during the night they squeaked very thin mattress and inadequent bed linen. February whilst lovely and hot during the day is very cool of an evening bring your hoodies. Never did we walk in an think oooow it smells nice and fresh. I purposely left cotton wool under the sink which again remained there for the entire stay and after a couple of days visiting the beautiful beaches the sand too remained in the shower tray. This is no way a four star hotel two star it pushing it AVOID there are must nicer hotels. thankfully we did have a car. If your not driving your staying there at the mercy of the awful evening entertainment and dreadful food!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice clean rooms, spacious and the patio with sunbeds was lovely only went to sit around the pool twice, nice and private, cleaners, and all staff was good and friendly, must say 2 guys in restaurant was great sorry don't know names guy with bun in his hair, and slight guy with glasses, they worked so well and always smiling, enjoyed our week away weather was beautiful but take a warm jacket for the night as it gets really cold, could do with bit updating but clean that's the main thing, would recommend if you wanted a peaceful week away, a week was enough for us, entertainment let the place down, but ok, food bit boring and always had to wait for things to be cooked, the guy doing the meat and fish, never seen such a miserable guy, pizza guy was great worked hard but all in all a good week away
