Super 8 by Wyndham Plattsburgh

Everything else was fully booked due to Airline issues in Canada. I feel lucky to have gotten a room, until I saw the huge stain on the couch. It looked like it was going on the sidewalk. I did not use the shower but a fellow guest said that the water took nearly an hour to drain when he did. Lights and air-conditioning worked, the chain for the door was missing but a bolt was available. Clean towels and soap available.

Bad reception I don’t like it so rude and receptionist don’t know many languages we don’t like it

Hard to find, but nice place once I found it! It was after dark when I arrived, and the entrance sign was unlit. Motel was down a dark side street.

Need to improve the cleanliness in the hotel. I strongly believe there is a need to improve the cleanliness in the hotel. We found flies in the bathroom during our stay.

There was what we assumed to be an (unkempt) employee smoking outside the side entrance nearly the entire time we were there. The juice dispensers did not work at breakfast and the orange juice that was sitting out in a container was warm. Every member of the staff was lethargic and totally disinterested in everything.

It was just ok… good for the price… but if had a choice would have paid the extra to stay somewhere else. Staff is friendly wanted to swim during the day but they didn’t open it until 3.
