Microtel is the cleanest hotel in this area. I travel here 2-4 times a year, and this is the best Hotel in Plattsburgh. Rooms are clean and the staff are cool and down-to-earth folks. I would recommend this hotel for the Plattsburgh area.

This room is okay for one person but small for two. The hotel was noisy. The breakfast was below average. The room had too few towels.

Stayed July 26-29, 2025, the hotel Didn’t post anything about construction in Lobby. Breakfast was not no fruit or yogurt first and second day ! Good thing I brought my own. My microwave in room Didn’t work. I told staff, they looked at me and just said ok. No Replacement during my stay. I had a special diet I had to Go Downstairs to A room To Heat up daily. ** I mostly was disappointed that staff didn’t seem to Care that I was lacking a microwave. Staff need to react to their guest needs; they are priority! Additionally, staff need to crack a smile once in awhile!

I had stayed here in the past, so when I came back to Plattsburgh, I first went there to find a room. The lobby is totally torn up, so you have to go around to a side door. I did that, and walked toward the lobby, and stuck my head in the office. Not seeing anyone, I called out. Then I yelled out, loud! No response. Can't you afford any help? Naturally, I went elsewhere.
