"We are currently enjoying three days at the Waldorf Astoria Platte Island before continuing our travels around the Seychelles. We almost skipped visiting this resort, but decided at the last minute to extend our vacation by a few days and check it out. We are so glad that we did! There is only one way to describe the experience. Exceptional. Absolutely exceptional in all aspects. The top notch hospitality started at the airport where we were greeted by Waldorf representatives and taken to the private Waldorf Astoria lounge. The lounge was the perfect respite from our long journey to the Seychelles. We were provided fresh cappuccinos and snacks as well as clean and well appointed shower facilities, which were a welcome benefit after traveling almost two days. Upon arrival at the island, the villas are beautiful, private, luxuriously appointed, and immaculately clean. Everyone on staff is amazing, especially our assigned personal concierge, Angelle. She has personalized every moment of our visit and has made us feel truly special. The island itself is all natural and gives the appearance of being completely untouched. Yes, the resort areas are perfectly manicured and beautiful. But, just a short walk down the beach and you feel like you are on an island never touched by a human, which is a beautiful experience. The food and drinks have been exceptional and there is something for every taste. We just can't say enough about how wonderful the Waldorf Astoria Platte Island has been."
