From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for something special. The warm, welcoming staff made check-in a breeze, and their attention to detail throughout our stay was unparalleled. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of the beach. the food was exceptional, and the service was equally impressive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations! Stella, Ioanna , Elli , Manolis thank you all (mostly the cleaning staff) for making our holidays very special! See you next year!

Caldera Bay is very nice and very well placed for surrounding attractions, you can get into Chania and Agia Marina easily as well as boat trips to nearby beaches. Plantinias itself is really lively and has lots of options for earing and drinking. It's really nice to be located on the beach too, we found the pools to be too small for the amount of guests and so went to the beach every day. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant offers good well priced food all day. Our only reason for marking down Caldera Bay on cleanliness is because we had ants in the room, coming in under the front door. We complained twice but nothing was done about it. Other than that everything ejse was very good.

Arrived to a studio room 713 that obviously hadn't been checked before we arrived. Toilet seat broken, soap dispenser, had leaked at some stage, had dried all over the surface. View from room overlooked a massive electric pylon, and a building covered with graffiti...vile! Next morning we saw Manager Johanna. Very abrasive. She gave her keys to two rooms, one would have €70 per night, as it had a private pool....nope. Then went to look at a like for like room studio. It was OK, on ground floor, but 100% better than 713. When we went back to the manager to say we would take 706...oh my God...she said over and over again " but it's on the ground floor people will keep walking past" we are fine with that. I felt, as soon as we didn't want to spend €70 she was put out. Not the best person to face, when you are on holiday 😕 Pools were lovely, beach great . Breakfast good.

Great property with spacious and comfortable rooms. The hotel is right on the beach but also has it's own pool and restaurant. The breakfast buffet was amazing!
