Iakinthos, Tsilivi Beach ★★★★
"The room is clean and tidy, very close to the beach, and the hotel service is good"
Contessina Hotel ★★★★★
"Facilities: Very good Environment: Nice Service: Very good"
Alamis Hotel & Apartments ★★★★
"The room was spacious, clean, and close to the main street, making it convenient for dining. The downsides were that breakfast didn't start until 8 am, so those catching early flights might miss it, and there were a lot of mosquitoes – I killed three in one night!"
The Senses Tsilivi Hotel ★★★
"The proprietress is very nice and the hotel is very clean."
Al Mare Hotel ★★★★
"Just spent 1 week in Tsilivi. My first time to the island. The hotel is small and lovely.Great staff, good choice of breakfast for it being small, lovely pool, plenty of beds and rite on the waters edge. There is a very small bit of sandy beach where you could put a couple of towels down but that’s all.Lovely grassy bit with steps down to the lovely warm shallow sea.Eat breakfast overlooking the sea.I would definitely come here again."
Alexandra Beach Resort & Spa ★★★★
"Wonderful hotel! Absolutely beautifully located with breathtaking views, right by a beautiful, safe beach and just a 4-minute walk from the town. Luxuriously decorated, yet tastefully and maintaining a Mediterranean character. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every day, with all towels changed daily. There is absolutely nothing lacking in the hotel. The staff is the most wonderful in the world, swiftly fulfilling all guest requests, smiling, warm, and treating you like a long-awaited guest in their home. The food is the best we've ever had in an all-inclusive option, delicious, freshly prepared, with plenty of fish, seafood, themed evenings (Greek, Italian, Mexican, and Asian cuisine), and the best desserts in the world. Breakfasts were the most repetitive, but the selection is so large that you can still vary them each day. The rest of the meals are practically different every day with a really wide choice, although probably due to children and picky eaters, a standard set is available every day: pizza, two or three types of spaghetti, and fries. Restaurant service gets a 12/10. The lovely manager ensures that all guest requests are fulfilled immediately, along with the waiters. The wonderful Nikko! An older waiter who greets you with a smile from the moment you enter, knows what wine or beer you want to order for lunch, and where your favorite table is. Here, you don’t wait for cutlery or drinks. The staff literally runs around the guests. They are warm and smiling. The drinks are tasty, beautifully presented, and the bartenders are wonderful, smiling, and helpful. If someone doesn’t like the offered drinks, they can easily compose their own. There is no issue with filling bottles with water (still or sparkling) at any bar, nor with taking a drink back to your room or to the beach. The biggest problem is the availability, or rather the unavailability, of sun loungers by the pool. They can be reserved from 8 AM, and by 7:45, an army of sleepy zombies stands by them with towels. The problem is that often they don’t use them for half the day afterward. However, this is not the hotel's fault. We managed to grab a lounger in the morning without a fight or having to wake up early once. On other days, we swam in the sea until late hours, and in the late afternoon, there are always a few loungers freed up for a couple of hours. Loungers on the beach are paid (this is a public beach). It costs between 15-20 euros for a set with an umbrella per day, depending on the location on the beach. We intended to use them but really didn’t feel the need even once. In reviews, we read that the hotel is boring and that there are no animations. For us, this was definitely a plus; besides, every evening there was practically some attraction provided: either by the illuminated pool or at the rooftop bar, events were organized, sometimes themed, and live concerts. None of them disturbed our relaxation or sleep. In summary, this is the best hotel we have "
Domus Alta ★★★
"Not bad, there is a balcony, but it is a bit far from the town"
Porto Planos Beach Hotel ★★★★
"I've taken One month to think about my review, hope it helps. On arrival we we met(Not welcomed)by a receptionist who was only interested in extracting 140 euro at a rapid rate of knots.I am not a seasoned traveller, however, I would recognise a Five star hotel.Porto Planos at a push would rate at Three. The room, although small, was comfortable The Balcony is very small.Comparable to a box of Swan Vesta matches.Food was eaten at a sister hotel,a short hop across a road.Food was cooked fresh and was excellent.Cleaners are fantastic and left our room spotless each time. Would I stay again?.No."
Lazaros Hotel Resort ★★★
"This is amazing place to stay here as you have everything around you: sea, restaurants, shops and bars just few minutes away by foot. Rooms are new, very clean and has all equipment that you need. Towels was changed every day, breakfast also has variety of options and everything that I tried was so fresh and tasty. If you dont want go to the beach you will always find place by the pool, atmosphere is very relaxing and calm here. Staff was also very helpful and nice, always ready to help or provide what you need. If you want to spend holidays in relaxing place, dont think and book a room here!"

"Very friendly staff, amazing food, everything is so clean as well. Special mention to Hani at the guest services who goes the extra mile to please the guests. Wonderful Lili at the restaurant is always helpful and smiling. Hossam also has been very keen to help at restaurant. Overall wonderful family holiday."
New Beach Hotel
"An excellent weeks stay with wife and daughter (9) at end of July. Rooms - We had junior suite which was modern with excellent shower. Balcony space was spacious relative to other hotels in the area. Food - Breakfast was a mix of buffet (fruit, pastries and nice breads) and limited cooked options which were presented v well. Tea and coffee were provided via the waitresses. A special mention to the fabulous Linda - top class service and someone who represented the hotel v well. Constructive feedback - (1) There was no music around the pool & bar area. I understand some like it quiet but we felt the area lacked atmosphere. (2) Sometimes there were a mix of birds and wasp-like flys at breakfast. A large fan in the area would discourage that. Overall - Would visit again. Defo recommend."
Palazetto Suites Zakynthos - Adults Only
"Unfortunately had a big problem with AC unit that could never be resolved. Unit leaked onto floor creating huge dangerous puddles. Unfortunately the staff copped an attitude when we attempted to get more towels when we had to use all to keep floor safe. Called my wife disrespectful when she complained. Obviously they are trying to run two resorts and failing so they let this one go. The location is great but service is not."
Altura Hotel Zakynthos
Mamfredas Luxury Resort
"Highly recommend. Spotless and modern. Lovely welcome pack. Close by other villas but appears secluded as surrounded buy beautifully maintained gardens. Staff so friendly and helpful. So close to beach. Tsilivi resort lovely, great restaurants and bars close by."
Di Palai
"Communication before arriving was always so pleasant and friendly. But that wasn’t always the case when we were there. Requested a quiet room and was placed over looking the main road at the front of the hotel above the super market. They played music loudly and from early in the morning. Did move few days later thankfully. Rooms are basic. Don’t provide any soap. Lift was too small for the buggy to go in so every night we had to carry it up the stairs with the babies asleep. Asked if it was okay in the day time to leave the buggy tucked away in the reception area. Was told No… take it upstairs. We would never of left it in anyone’s way. Charged ridiculous amount for cots for babies.€40 per week per cot. Was told if not happy they can sleep on the sofa bed. Not very child friendly. Swim up bar was never open but told the hotel was full. Parasols are like a crochet material and give no shade at all. Definitely not anywhere near enough sun beds around the pool. Pool was clean, but cleaning salts had been left in the babies pool. Cleaners came into our room after I’d asked them not too as my husband wasn’t feeling well. Banging on the door and waking him. Requested a toaster which was good. Self catering apartment and there was no cloth to wash or dry up, no plug for the sink or bowl. Only two chairs on the balcony for a room for 4 people. We’ve been coming to Tsilivi for a long time and this was the first time in a long time we’ve stayed in a hotel. Definitely won’t be doing that again."
Phoenix Beach Hotel
"We stayed here for 2 weeks, on arrival we knew it was going to be fantastic, met by Dennis on reception everything was explained & nothing too much trouble, it is in a perfect location with a lovely pool & the beach a few strides away. The bar & waiting staff were fabulous very attentive & friendly - really good drinks & food. Breakfast every morning was lovely & fresh & the rooms cleaned spotlessly - nothing negative to say - we have absolutely loved our stay & will return next year!"
Planos Hotel
"Arrived at this hotel today. We’ve only been here six hours and can’t wait to leave! On being dropped off by coach it was a bit confusing because the hotel is set over three buildings and opposite each other. The male receptionist was welcoming. The hotel has ‘3’ pools, the main pool is busy, small and there were not any beds available. It seems towels are not provided as all guests seemed to have their own (something I’ve never seen in a hotel). We arrived at 2.30 and we told we had missed lunch but snacks would be available at 4pm, interesting as we’ve never been to an AI where food wasn’t served all day. The snacks turned out to be sandwiches which were highly undesirable. The veggie option was a piece of lettuce and a bit of tomato, quite dreadful. Our room was ok, but the toilet seat and shower are broken. We have a balcony but it’s not private and overlooks other rooms and is also over looked by other rooms, the hotel has a weird layout. There is a rooftop bar with a very shallow small ‘pool’ all inclusive drinks are not served at this venue we had to buy them. On arrival at the pool bar we were greeted by a very unfriendly and unhelpful female. The AI drinks list is very limited with only four ‘cocktails’ available, the drinks are tasteless. I asked if I could have my drink in a glass and I was told in no uncertain terms that the plastic beakers were for AI and the glasses were available if you paid for different drinks. We’ve never had to drink out of plastic beakers before, it’s degrading. This evening we went for dinner and to be honest had very little hope of anything good, we were not proved wrong. The buffet food is tepid and unaspiring, even the Greek salad didn’t look appetising, this is hard to comprehend. The staff were nice but clearly not enough to cover the amount of guests. I had to find my own chair, cutlery and placemat. I even had to hunt down a member of staff to order drinks. We’ve stayed in many AI hotels in many countries but we have to say this is by far the worst. It definitely isn’t a 4 star, a 2 at the most. I would definitely recommend not opting for AI and saving your money to go out for nice food and drinks. We have asked our tour company to try and find us an alternative hotel and we absolutely cannot stay here, it’s extremely disappointing. We work hard to pay for holidays and this has already ruined our trip. It’s below par for sure. We were so surprised as the reviews seemed positive, people must be writing about a different place! I’ve never written such a bad review in my life. I regret choosing this hotel and only hope we can be moved to something more appropriate."
Razis Apartments
"My friend and I have just returned from a lovely week staying at Razis. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome. All of the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a budget room, by choice, so the bathroom was a little small but that was the only thing I can think of. Great location, our room and huge balcony were at the front but noise was no problem. Good choice of food on the menu. As it was my birthday Malania arranged fresh flowers, balloons and wine in the room ☺️. Couldn't fault it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks Lyndsey and Tracy x"
Tsilivi Beach Hotel Zakynthos
"Beautiful hotel, we stayed in a lovely spacious twin room with a stunning sea view. We had really quick transfer from the airport, just 30 minutes door to door. There are lots of bars, and shops just a 5 minute walk away if you want to venture out and about. The main Zante town is a short taxi ride away costing €30 return. We were too early in the season to utilise the bus service as it only ran in school hours when we visited. The restaurant & bar caters for all with lots of choices. The traditional Greek night was our favourite. The food was delicious and the traditional Greek music and dancing were very entertaining. All the staff at the hotel are polite and friendly, we were always greeted with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. We booked our trip through Love Holidays and got great value for money for a 4 night all inclusive stay."
