"lovely new boutique hotel only 5 rooms. The rooms were large and well appointed. Beautiful modern decor. The location was only a 15 min walk to the plaka beach. They offered car ride to the beach. 10 min ride by car to the main town. Natasha at the front desk was so helpful with any of our needs and photie and his family were a pleasure at their beach restaurant peppermint. Hoping to return next summer again!"

"People, pay attention. There are rooms in the basement!! Not every room has a so beautiful view like seen on the pictures here. We stayed at Athinas in May 2026 for five days with a group of (bicycle-)bikers enjoying the Kyklades. We had to check in in advance via Internet. And it didn't work well. We arrived at the hotel, the usual procedure. Briefing. Oh, we are so special. (Dont compare us with other hotels). Who didn't check in via Internet? No roomkey for you. Try again! The ferry from Paros was at least 2,5 h late - but they got all time of the world. Each room is extra showed to the guests by Athina, look here, the bed. And here is the safe. And so on. All other guest have to wait till it's their time. OMG. The are rooms in the cellar/basement (deutsch: Tiefpaterre). We should have room number 36 and changed with one of our guides to 37. Thanks him for that. But the room was still in the cellar. No sea view like the other guests have, just the white wall of the neighbour hotel. Athina, the female boss, promised to think about it and promised to talk to us at the breakfast the next morning. And was never seen for the next four days! Other complaining people got a new room. Sure, we could complain again at the reception. But we didn't. My point is: whats about the congruence between saying and doing? Whats about credibility? 0 Points. What's about responsible managing a guest-complaint? Back to school. We feeled ignored. But our money was good enough. Yes, there is a really nice and maintained garden and pool. But the watering engineer for the plants and the pool is chasing the cats every single possibility there is. The cats are deeply afraid of every guest who is just moving in their near. Sorry, that's what I notice as guest too. There a beautiful rooms with terraces, view to the sea. But not everyone will be able to enjoy that. Conclusion: make sure you get a room with a nice view. And make up your mind whether you really will book at Athinas."

"We loved our time at Dream on Plaka Hotel. Check in was warm and sincere with a welcome drink. We had a hot tub that by our request was cleaned and terrific. It is literally right across the street from a great beach. There are restaurants within walking distance. The rental car people came to the hotel and picked up the car from the parking lot. Breakfast was great, but a bit slow to come out despite us giving them an exact time we would sit down. Cannot comment on the other amenities like gym which appeared basic but we did not use. It was very clean. There are alot of ants but it was not specific to the hotel but the area. Air conditioning was great and quiet. They supplied shampoo, conditioner, etc. Other then the delay in breakfast, it was a fantastic place to stay and we left with a smile!!!! Grade : A!"
