Residence Inn Canton

The room was not ready at check in. We waited about 45 minutes and then had to change in the bathroom as we had reservations somewhere. The front desk person was very apologetic and super nice. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. It looks like they hadn't swept the hallways in a very long time. It was convenient to where we were visiting but I'm not sure I'd stay there again.

Room was nice and clean, very roomy. They were doing construction on our floor, but it was all good.

We loved our stay, especially the staff! Lola, Sharlene, Emma & all the others were great. I feel like I’ve known Lola forever! She was so kind and helpful! The food was great & our room was good. 1 problem: Our TV didn’t work Friday night or Saturday morning. We’re big sport’s fans, that was draft night & basketball play offs. Not good! My mistake but staff was professional. This place should not be overlooked. We realized at check in that I had lost my license and there was no way to check in without it. The guy at the front desk was empathetic and understanding but also was doing his job. We had to go home (90 minutes) in a snow storm to get my passport so we could come back and check in. It was important to spend the weekend with our daughter. Everything about the hotel was perfect for family time.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and their staff! I’m staying here from out of town for 10 days to recover from surgery and these folks have gone above and beyond. First off, my flight came in early, I was on meds and dying to check in early. With a few clicks they got me not just in a room early but upgraded me to a 2 bedroom suite without extra charges. And this room, is amazing! Perfect for my recovery! My husband joined me for a few days to get me through the worst parts, but there’s even doors that divide the bedroom and living room (both with TVs yay!) so I could rest and he could do his thing. Everything was super clean, great bed, and lots of amenities. Another big bonus is the hot breakfast! They rotate different stuff daily! Everything from scrambled eggs, cheese omelets, sausage biscuits, French toast sticks, lil Belgian waffles, always a different selection of cereals, pastries, toastable breads and bagels, juices, a oatmeal bar with tons of fixings, and more! But back to the service, these folks have gone above and beyond to help make me comfortable during this time. Extra pilliows, blankets…husband even scored 2ply TP Just great attitudes and helpful folks. I just love this hotel. Incredible value here as well. Every trip to Ohio, I’ll be staying here hands down!

Staff is great. Hotel is extremely dirty. Hallways not vacuumed. Rooms have crumbs on the floor. Kitchen and bathrooms not mopped. Hotel is NOT SECURE!!!! Door broken and anyone can enter at any time. Fireplace was nice but still old and dirty. Hotel def needs some help.
