Fairfield Inn & Suites Canton

Don’t recommend. 9/13/25: I received an email from a case resolution specialist today simply stating they have spoken with the general manager at this location and they are not willing to issue a refund. Never contacted by the manager my self or anyone else. I advised the case resolution specialist of this review posting, that I would no longer be staying at any Marriott locations moving forward, and would be encouraging friends and family from refraining from staying with their chain as well. 9/9/25: I mistakenly booked a reservation at this location instead of a different Fairfield inn by Marriott in a Canton located in another state where I often stay for work travel. When I arrived at the correct state’s Fairfield location in that state’s “Canton” and learned of the error, I immediately called this location to report the error. I was placed on hold and heard two staff members speaking about how one of the staff members didn’t know how to do their job and someone needed to train them. I am still being charged for a night’s stay at this location as well. I called the corporate office to file a complaint and attempt to rectify the issue- while still staying at the correct Fairfield inn by Marriott’s location. Was placed on hold while they attempted to speak with the front desk staff at this location. Several minutes later I was informed by the corporate line that the best they can do is open a case and I should hear from someone at this property in 3-5 days. This experience has resulted in the decision to no longer stay at a Marriott property in the future.

This property is located close to the 77 Highway! So that means you can hear the morning rush hour traffic. We had the executive king suite, which was quite comfortable. They updated their phone system so reaching the front desk couldn't be done with their house phone. They offered a hot breakfast buffet which was decent, eggs, sausages one dayand two, then eggs, bacon with biscuits and gravy the next day. They also have waffles, yogurt, juices as well as fresh fruits. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice property. Staff was very nice! Beds were actually very comfortable and the pool and breakfast options were a big hit with the family.

Our key card reader would only work about 10% of the time. We wither had to have one pwrson stay behind or had to go gt new cards which only worked once. Pool closed because of a big, clearly ongoing, leak in ceiling. The elevater was dirty and so slow. Had to go to first floor for ice. Couldnt get room cooled down. Room stank so bad i had to spray perfume everywhere to stand being in it. Thank God we wwre only staying one night. I almost would have preferred sleeping in my car. Will never ever stay at this chain again.

Breakfast was very bland, but if you are hungry, definitely edible and no additional fees.
