"The rooms were surprisingly nice, considering the somewhat gruff exterior of the hotel. It appeared recently renovated with a nice, inviting tone, good beds and a comfortable bathroom. The location was very close to the city centre, and the breakfast was decent, considering the price for staying. The check-in process was not very convenient. We knew that check-in was not until 4 PM, but we were not aware that the reception did not open until 4 PM- meaning that if you arrive early one should keep oneself preoccupied in the city centre etc. beforehand. It was stressful how the staff had to serve both the pub and the hotel, our receptionist was friendly but appeared stressed and we did not feel we could confiscate his time by asking many questions. One question we did ask however was if the hotel had parking in the parking house nearby-he responded that he didn't know. It turned out that the hotel had their designated parking area close to the elevators to the hotel, but as we were not aware we parked in the very opposite direction and had a long walk with much luggage. That was quite unnecessary. "

"The cabins are extremely poorly built. No insulation and no air-conditioning so they become super hot. The windows in the bedrooms don't open, so it's super hot. There's a basic fan in one bedroom, but it's very noisy. Beds are the worst I've ever slept on. The matress is the thinnest, maybe 2.5 inches compressed. The curtains don't block the sun out properly so expect little sleep during your stay. The facilities are old. The hire equipment is old and falling apart, and very expensive to hire. There is no consideration for safety. My son broke his ankle whilst on of the activities, due to the unsupervised actions of another random child. The food options are very low quality. Games and arcades are extremely expensive. So if you want a bad experience, this is the place. Honestly, one of the worst, if not the worst holiday experience I've ever had."
