Great quiet little motel in fancy gap Virginia, great staff, very attentive, rooms are nice and comfortable. Nice soft beds and a beautiful view. My dog 🐕 loved his stay as well

This might be the worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. We arrived late at night on our road trip just needing a place to crash. The front desk attendant was sleeping and we had to call the front desk phone several times to wake up just so we could get a keycard. The room was horrific. Bugs everywhere, stuff smeared on the walls, beds from 1970, and missing flooring. Those were just the perks of our room. It was genuinely scary to stay here.

This was just a stop and sleep for a few hours place didn’t need anything fancy but this was AWFUL! Did not feel safe! signs everywhere about them not being responsible for stolen stuff so on.. then to get to the room and it does not have the metal door stopper it was completely ripped off so had to count on just a deadbolt.. The guy who checked us in was not easy to understand and kept burping (no excuse me or trying to cover his mouth nothing!!))and he kept getting confused… we booked a King non smoking room he said he did not have any available ended up getting a double queen room that looks like it should of been out of order… the flooring was full out missing in some spots and just laying on top of subfloor in other places.. the room smelled moldy and everything was just in a state of disarray… like I said we only needed to sleep a couple hours and the bed seemed ok… so we slept… went to check out no one to be found which I wanted to mention about how bad the room was and make sure they were aware of everything but after 10 ish minutes waiting and ringing the bell I put key down and left.. honestly you don’t expect much from a motel 6 but I would not recommend this to anyone.

Booked a room for May 2025. Various websites showed a pool and some listed a hot tub as well. They have neither. False advertising and can be very disappointing for children who are looking forward to swimming. Called the location and couldn’t understand anything the man said. Also he said nothing when I informed him of the mis information online.

The value was good for an overnight stay. Staff responded quickly to the room door not being operational and got us into a different room.

Light switch in the room didn’t work.
Half the cable channels (15-30) were scrambled.
Lamp shades broken, holes in furniture.
However it had interior doors for the second floor which was nice.
You don’t expect a lot at a motel 6 but I would like them to care a bit more.

This motel 6 unlike many others is a nice hotel it’s up on a hill very quiet .we always enjoy our stay thus far

The back side of hotel hasn’t been remodeled like the front side it’s fine but not as nice hopefully the will get it all updated soon
