The hotel is located in a very nice traditional courtyard building in the ancient city. The room is small but everything was working well and we had everything we need.

I loved this hotel! Located in an ancient house with amazing courtyard, rooms equipped with tradional Chinese furniture. It’s very close to Pingyao west gate (3 minutes walk). Breakfast is served in a small restaurant in the nearby (reception boy accompanied us), Chinese cuisine only. Hotel staff doesn’t speak English, but is very friendly and helpful.

Conveniently-located hotel attached to a hanfu dress rental shop. The courtyard is quite busy with people doing photo shoots throughout the day so it’s not peaceful, but it is pretty.

If you’d like to stay close to the west gate of Pingyaogucheng, this is a very good option. The inn manager was very attentive to customer’s reasonable request. It is also a popular picture-taking place for ancient custom dress-up. Recommended.

Very good location. Within the old town and close to many attractions and to the lower west gate where taxis can drop passengers. Very good services from staff. The hotel was converted from an old mansion which is a tourist attraction in itself. Do note that there are steps between the entrance and most rooms. Also, our room was over two floors. While these steps and stairs do not bother us it is something to note.

Hotels are definitely more expensive than usual during National Day, but Tianjuan Garden is still very cost-effective. There is also a shooting service here, where you can experience the young ladies in ancient houses. Putting two beds together, it is very spacious and can accommodate four people. The service was also good, and they thoughtfully prepared souvenirs and specialties when I left. I liked it very much.

The inn is centrally located in the ancient city of Pingyao. It has Ming and Qing style architecture and is very suitable for travel photography. The accommodation rooms are in Tang Dynasty style, antique and clean. The service is attentive and meticulous!

It’s a perfect combination of beautiful scenery and feudal plot. It’s incomparable with See You Again in Dunhuang. In the end, Pingyao is still the most beautiful in Shuanglin Temple.
