Omg I can't tell you how sweet the host lady was! I arrived in Pingyao at 6am in the morning and she gave me the room right away! She was so sweet and kind to let me use the laundry machine for free and was always helping me with everything. The place is inside the ancient city and it's quite pretty and got the historic vibes! Really love the place, it's very clean! Recommended for everyone stopping by!

Owners were really friendly even though language barrier. First day the gentleman took me to a restaurant and second one offered me food with his family. Only cons would say the bed, which isn’t a proper bed but not complains. Good value for money

This place has very high value for money. The owners are sweet and caring, and the rooms are basic but have everything you need. There's a little quiet courtyard to hang out in. While it's in the outskirts of the ancient city, it's still within the walls. This part of the ancient city is much quieter than the center, which has its benefits, and it's still a short walk to the attractions. Furthermore it's very easy to get to and from other locations with bus/taxi as it's very close to the roads just outside the wall.
