I pulled up and saw that the big sign is gone. Both trash barrels are overflowing with trash. Trim for the door is coming down. My room had no hot water for the shower. Counter by the bed was not wiped down. It had some type of dried spillage with on it. The door said that room start at $69 My receipt shows that it’s $89 Bed seem clean.

A bit on the small side, and seemed mostly an overnight stop on the way to somewhere else. Breakfast was decent: yogurt, cereal, waffle maker, egg and sausage patties (intended for a muffin sandwich?), no fruit, bottles of juice instead of a dispenser. Some electric outlets in the room were awkwardly placed: powerstrip on the rear underside of the desk to plug in a laptop.

Be very careful about reserving a room with this hotel. Most hotels have a refund policy in which one doesn't forfeit their advance payment if providing sufficient notice. Not this one. I had to be hospitalized recently, which caused me to have to cancel a trip to visit family. Usually, I stay at another hotel but it was booked for the dates of my trip. In its place, I booked a room with this hotel. Although I have been out of the hospital for a couple of days, I am still on a strong antibiotic, and walking and driving are difficult, so I decided to forego the trip. Upon canceling my hotel reservation, I was informed that no refund would be made. I urge caution if booking in advance at this hotel. Things can change suddenly in one's life and cancellations are sometimes necessary. In my view, unless the cancellation is 11th hour, one shouldn't be charged for such a transaction. For shame.

We were given a room that was smelly, unsafe surroundings, dirty room and lobby. The AC was broken. Had to wait at checkin for someone to appear to be checked in. We didn't want our room with the conditions it was in and there seemed to be no more rooms so we asked and was given a refund and moved on.

Clerk switched our room to ground floor with no issue to accommodate handicap. Shower water was not very hot but we managed.
