Wir wurden von Carlo herzlich empfangen, dass blieb so bis zur Abreise. Das Frühstück wurden mit eigenen Zutaten liebevoll hergerichtet. Das war jeden Morgen eine Freunde. Da wir geschäftlich reisten hatten wir ein Problem, Carlo stand uns zur Seite und war sehr hilfsbereit. Das schön beleuchtete Schloss mit den italienischen schönen Gassen hat uns Carlo gezeigt, auch waren die Spuren der Tempelreiter sehr interessant, irgendwie war es bezaubernd, zusammen mit dem Vollmond. Wir haben Pico, unsere verlassene Heimat, durch Carlo besser kennen und lieben gelernt. Einmalige, herzliche Gastfreundschaft! Caro Carlo, non ti dimentichiamo mai, sarai sempre nell nostro cuore, e spero a presto. Un forte abbraccio Rina e Walter.

Meine Schwester und ich (Walter/Rina) gastierten vier Tage im Hotel Nena bei Carlo. Italien pur das darf man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Nicht nur kulinarische Eindrücke, sondern auch ein wünderschönes Ambiente wartet darauf entdeckt zu werden. Für mich persönlich aber stand eine so nie erlebte Gastfreundschaft im Vordergrung. Carlo als Capo, Fremdenführer, Kontaktknüpfer, und Anlaufstelle für jegliche Belangen und schlussendlich als gute Seele und Freund ist ein Mensch den man kennenlernen muss. Die Räumlilchkeiten und das typische Dorf in Campagna strahlen eine vita italiana aus. Auf diesem Wege möchte ich noch eines loswerden: Caro Carlo, Abbiamo fatto un viaggio é abbiamo trovato un caro amico. Grazie mille per ituoi impegni e la tua amicizzia.

Amazing hotel
Pico and the hotel is an amazing experience, it is such s lovely placerade in Italy. Our host Carlo welcomed us and told us about the collage history and invited us to the local fiesta with BBW, drinks and entertainern. We strongly recommend everyone trevelling from Rome to southern Italy to make a stop and this fantastic hotel ❤️

Ciao, We planned a family visit and discovered the Nena’ online. We we looking to have an authentic Italian village experience in the town my grandparents were born. My 92 year-old mom always wanted to visit the place where her parents were born and we found the perfect place to fill her dream. Our host, Carlo, was wonderful with my mom and my family. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a very special experience. All our Food and beverages from our breakfasts to the special meals we requested were all made fresh and delizioso! We had a wonderful and joyful time at a cooking class. His staff was attentive and enthusiastic about our visit and they could not have been any kinder. Carlo was also a great guide on our excursions. We had a magical vacation. Mille grazie!

We are so glad we found this gem. Beautiful medieval residence in a historically rich environment! Carlo was an exceptional host, attentive to every detail. We had a wonderful breakfast prepared by him the next morning. If we are in Italy again we will definitely stay here. Our only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer.

Carlo è un padrone di casa premuroso e disponibile. La struttura "diffusa" è splendida, ben incastonata nel borgo. Stanze dotate dei comfort moderni senza rinunciare all'estetica tradizionale. Colazione con prodotti genuini, del territorio. Tornerò appena posso!

There are not enough great things we can say about our stay at Nena. The town of Pico, our accommodations at Nena and our host Carlo were all absolutely fabulous! Carlo is a star. He showed us a great time at his favorite pizza restaurant followed by a night walking tour of the town and castle. We look forward to our return trip.
