Days Inn by Wyndham Picayune

This place is absolutely horrible. The property and rooms look nothing like the photos. We arrived before 9:00 PM and the lobby was locked, with a sign that said the lobby, pool, and breakfast were unavailable for the "safety of the employees". Our rooms stunk of cigarette smoke (in spite of them being non-smoking rooms), there were bugs (both alive and dead - roaches, spiders and termites) and mold in the rooms, and one room the key cards wouldn't work properly (the front desk clerk said there must be a problem with the battery). The parking lot and driveway were full of huge potholes. The whole property looks incredibly run-down. We were not expecting luxury by any means, but we WERE expecting a clean place to sleep... which we did NOT get here.

The room was very tidy! Pillows were very comfortable beds are nice and comfortable wasn’t loud didn’t have unruly people was good

Just a one night stay to see family

There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about the staff , property, or experience. The staff was not hospitable or helpful. The entire property including the room was filthy and smelled . The pool has been drained and not functioning for years. The lobby was closed and has been for some time with no access to the proclaimed limited breakfast . The exercise room if you can call it that was closed and off limits. The property advertisement was misleading on every claim made. Stay at your own personal risk !!! I would have preferred to sleep under a bridge than at this days inn had I known better.
