Movenpick Properties in Phuket

The service was great and very attentive. The pool had a fantastic vibe, perfect for photos. The hotel also offered a free tuk-tuk shuttle to Jungceylon and Patong Beach. They provided complimentary desserts every afternoon. The location was convenient, and the photo opportunities were excellent. The spa was decent, not amazing, but perfectly fine; reservations are required. The only downside was the faucet in the bathroom sink; the water pressure was difficult to control and would often spray too much.

It’s been quite a few years since I last stayed in Movenpick Bangtao, and this is my third time returning. I choose this hotel because the rooms are spacious and clean, and also it is nicely situated beside a quiet private beach but yet 5 minutes ride away from a western shopping area where you can shop and dine. I stayed in a seaview pool residence this time. Our private pool was great and the seaview was amazing. The kitchen inside the residence had all the tools needed to stir up a meal - you can do your groceries at the supermarket nearby. The staffs are very helpful, kind and detail minded. It was my wife’s birthday during our stay, but I didn’t mentioned to the staffs but they noted when taking note of our passports, and on her birthday they gave us a birthday, which was very sweet. The checkin was efficient and easy. We were nicely taken care of during our stay. Other than our private pool, the public pool is big and nice as well. You can also use the private beach area which is a few steps away. One thing that can be improved is that the interior is a little dated and can use a renovation. The exterior is still very stylish. I’m very happy during my stay as a returning customer, and will definitely return again when I visit Phuket. Highly recommended.
