Hotels in Kata Beach, Phuket

A fabulous hotel, incredibly beautiful and atmospheric. If you want to spend your vacation like a fairy tale in a palace surrounded by greenery, this is your choice. My wife and I are absolutely delighted with this hotel. Besides the gorgeous exterior of the grounds, there's also a really great pool and excellent breakfasts. We had a room with pool access, and that was a special kind of pleasure, being able to fully relax without leaving the room 😅 In the evening, the lights come on, and the hotel becomes even more beautiful, incredibly stunning, words can't describe it. The staff are also top-notch; everyone is kind and friendly and helps with any question. In short, for me, this is the coolest and most atmospheric hotel in Phuket, if not the whole world 😅 My rating is 10 out of 10; even other 5-star hotels aren't as impressive as this one. I will definitely come back here again and recommend it to others.

Clean and cozy, with daily cleaning, towel changes, and replenishment of water, tea, and other amenities, including large shampoo and shower gel. I liked the room: a big balcony and a swimming pool. The price is excellent for this standard. The location is also good, with a store nearby and markets. If you go up the hill, there are even more markets and shops for locals where everything is even cheaper. It's quiet and peaceful here, unlike the Patong area.

The hotel is good; if the main purpose of your trip is the sea, then this is the best option. The only thing that bothered me was that they put disposal bags for sanitary pads in the room, but not the pads themselves, even though I think the pads are much more important than the disposal bag. As a woman, it would have been much more convenient for me to have at least one pad ready, rather than having to go to the store at a critical moment.

Pool 10/10: The hotel's wrap-around pool is fantastic. First off, the water is very clean; staff are out every morning scooping up fallen leaves. The water doesn't taste overly chlorinated, suggesting frequent changes. The pool is huge, allowing you to swim continuously around it. At 1.3 meters deep, it's friendly for less confident swimmers. The lounge area is also clean, with no bugs or leaves. Room 10/10: Clean, comfortable bedding. Service 6/10: It's off-season now, so the hotel occupancy isn't high. When checking in, I specifically asked not to have a room by the red pool, but they assigned me one anyway. My friend had the same experience when they stayed here previously; it seems they only assign these rooms to Chinese guests. I had to refuse the room before they changed it, which is a definite negative point. Other Services: Hotel staff are friendly and polite.

Kata rocks was the best , it gives Santorini vibes . My stay at Kata Rocks was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely world-class. The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset, and the infinity pool is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. The villa was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with every luxury you could ask for. The food was outstanding, and every member of the staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay. If you’re looking for privacy, luxury, and an unforgettable experience in Phuket, Kata Rocks is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to come back!

The room and environment are fine. However, just as other reviews mentioned, there's a male staff member and a rather plump female staff member at the front desk with attitude problems. The man didn't outwardly show it, but he spoke Chinese and yet insisted on speaking English. The plump woman clearly rolled her eyes because my girlfriend wanted to use the restroom near the front desk. I even saw her complaining about it to the male staff member. I won't consider this hotel again if I come back to Phuket. For anyone thinking of staying here, judge for yourselves – if you can put up with that kind of attitude, then go for it. Also, when you're abroad and encounter bad service, speak up and confront them, don't be timid and don't let them get away with their bad habits. There is a man and a fat woman at the front desk of this hotel, and the service attitude is bad.

The location is very convenient, near Kata Beach, and about 50 km from the airport. We arranged our own transfer, which took about 75 minutes. Turning left out of the main gate leads to the beach, but we didn't walk there; it's estimated to be a 10-minute walk, and we drove past it in a taxi. Turning right out of the main gate, after about a 13-minute walk, you'll see a Burger King. Turning right at the Burger King intersection leads to the Kata Market, which has many fast-food stalls offering great value for money, as well as fruit stands. It's usually open from 11 am to 11 pm, so you can find lunch and dinner there. There are also pharmacies along the way, and you can buy local specialties if needed. There are many massage parlors and restaurants nearby, but the market offers better value for dining. The room was clean and tidy, equipped with a locker for passports or money (though our tour guide advised against keeping money inside). The only downside was that the duvet felt a bit damp, but we brought our own disposable bedding to put over it, which solved the issue. We also brought a filter shower head, and indeed, it filtered out some dirt from the water, so remember to bring one. There was no hairdryer in the room, but we brought our own, so we didn't ask for one. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were not provided in the room, but I assume they would be available if requested. For two-prong plugs, no adapter is needed, but for three-prong plugs, you'll need an adapter. Breakfast was a buffet with a rich selection. I stayed for four nights and had a bowl of noodles every morning, along with Thai milk tea. I was very satisfied with the breakfast. The swimming pool is open from 7 am to 6 pm, and my kids absolutely loved the slide there; they could play all day and didn't want to leave. The staff at **Pamookkoo** were all very warm and hospitable, making us feel at home and full of happiness. I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

The hotel is relatively quiet, which is a big plus! It was better than expected. Although climbing the stairs was tiring, the staff helped with our luggage. The pool is beautiful, and I even practiced snorkeling there on the first day, haha. The location is excellent, with a great massage parlor nearby that I visited daily and shared in my photos. There's also a famous restaurant downstairs with a super delicious mango shake—all within a 5-minute walk. Plus, there's a shooting range and Kata Beach. My friend said Karon Beach was dirty, so I chose to stay near Kata Beach this time, and the sand was indeed very fine. The location is truly superb. Several front desk staff speak Chinese, making communication very smooth. The most noteworthy thing is that Skyline Adventure is nearby. We booked through Trip.com, and they picked us up last, which saved us a lot of unnecessary detours and waiting for other members. Nice!

This was by far the most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Phuket. Satisfied point 1: It was the only hotel that allowed an early check-in; I was able to get into my room by noon. Satisfied point 2: It's right on Karon Beach – super convenient, beautiful, comfortable, and blissful. Satisfied point 3: There's an amazing Thai restaurant right outside the hotel; I'm planning on making it my regular spot. Love, love, love it!
