Hotels in Bang Tao Beach, Phuket

Unlike the previous review, we also stayed in room 2101, and we loved everything. It really depends on how you look at it. While the furniture was slightly worn, its condition didn't detract from our vacation. The housekeepers cleaned our room daily, it was tidy and unobtrusive. Having a private pool in the room was amazing! The main pool was clean, no complaints there. The staff were friendly and not intrusive. A special shout-out to the bartender! Anything that wasn't quite right in the room upon check-in was immediately fixed. The kitchenware set was small, but we weren't there to cook anyway. The only thing really missing was a microwave in the room. All in all, we had a wonderful 10-day stay, and we wish the same for everyone! :)

Another wonderful stay at this beautiful resort with direct beach access. The service has been exceptional from start to finish. The staff have been incredibly helpful with both major and minor requests, and we truly appreciated the complimentary room upgrade during the low season. This was my fifth stay here, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. The welcoming atmosphere and consistently outstanding hospitality keep bringing me back. As the resort has been around for a few years now, it may be time to consider some room refreshes, particularly updating the mattresses and bedding. New, crisp, high-quality linens can make a noticeable difference to the overall guest experience. The neighboring Ibis Styles, being a newer property, naturally has exceptionally fresh, crisp bedding, and it would be wonderful to see this resort offer the same level of sleeping comfort while maintaining its own charm. My only other suggestion would be to install a few more fans in the lobby and waiting area, as it can become quite humid while waiting for a taxi or food delivery. I honestly don’t know how the staff manage to work through the midday heat—they do an amazing job despite the conditions. Overall, this remains one of my favorite places to stay, and I look forward to returning for my sixth visit.

The rooms are comfortable, and there's daily cleaning and service, with water, coffee/tea replenished. The hotel is located in what feels like a local Thai neighborhood, a bit far from the beaches, but there's a shuttle service to Surin and Bangtao beaches. Overall, we're not picky at all and we liked the hotel. Plus, we didn't spend much time in the room, so for resting and just sleeping, it was more than comfortable. The staff are also pleasant, and the hotel itself is quiet and green, with a small pool and a lounge area by the pool. As for the downsides: there's construction nearby, but it didn't bother us at all. And once at night, we could hear the mosque, but that didn't really affect us either. So, if you're as laid-back about everything as we are, then this hotel will be comfortable for your stay. Overall, I recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the Homa condo in Bang Tao for two weeks and had a really great experience. The complex is modern, the grounds are well-maintained, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the details. We especially loved the rooftop pool: it offers excellent views, a peaceful atmosphere, and comfortable sun loungers. It's perfect for relaxing after a busy day or watching the sunset. The gym was also a pleasant surprise: the equipment is new, there's plenty of space, and it's kept very clean. It's an ideal option for anyone who doesn't want to interrupt their workouts while on holiday. The condo has its own restaurant – the food was delicious, portions were generous, and prices were reasonable. We tried both classic Thai dishes and European cuisine; everything was top-notch. The parking is convenient and secure: we comfortably left our car and motorbike without worrying about their safety. The location is one of its main advantages: there are shops, cafes, and rental places nearby, you can reach the beach by motorbike in 10-15 minutes, and it's easy to get to major shopping centers and attractions. I will definitely return!!!

I've been coming back for three years in a row, and it feels just as warm and welcoming as coming home. It's just that during the rainy season, there are very few people. They call it the rainy season, but it really just means it rains frequently for about ten to fifteen minutes, then clears right up to a sunny sky. It's a different kind of experience, and still offers great value for money.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night. It's generally suitable for a short stopover during a road trip, but personally, I wouldn't be very comfortable staying longer. The room is small, and the furniture and plumbing are quite dated. Hot water was also a bit inconvenient – the temperature can only be adjusted on the boiler, and it's impossible to get it right at the tap and in the shower. There was also an issue with the toilet: the water in the tank was constantly yellow for some reason, giving the impression that the plumbing wasn't working correctly. Overall, it wasn't very aesthetically pleasing. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, there's convenient parking for those arriving by car, and a shop is within walking distance. The hotel doesn't offer meals. Overall, it's more of an option for a single night without high expectations for comfort.

Excellent hotel, new and beautiful! Everything inside was clean, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It's conveniently located, just 5 minutes to the beach and 5-10 minutes to Tops and 7/11. There are currency exchange booths nearby, but the rates aren't the best. The hotel staff are very friendly and always accommodating, ready to help (they let us check in early without any issues). I really loved this hotel, and the off-season price per night was a dream! The rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable, the toilet is separated by a door, and there are two pools and a fitness center on the roof. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! We will definitely be back again :)

One of the best places to stay that is near beach and also have your own pool like villa. The staff is kind enough to upgrade us to pool access with premium garden view which is nearer to lobby. Just a slight complaint is the shampoo and body soap is not enough for 4 person use and they did not provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Maybe need to ask but we end up buying near the Tops mini market infront of the hotel.

Not really the authentic Thai experience, but more like a Western-style resort in a truly beautiful tropical setting. There were always plenty of sun loungers available for relaxing, and it was great that you could order food and drinks everywhere. The room was also excellent and spacious, and lunch at the restaurant was delicious! Good options all around!
