Hotels in Mai Kao Beach, Phuket

The hotel room is so gigantic, they even have stove, microwave and a big counter. TV is smart TV you can enjoy watching Netflix with your loved ones. Also they have so many pools in hotel, the hotel size is large however they have a golf car to pick you up everywhere. Recommended for long stay and family stay.

Excellent, cozy mini-hotel! 10 minutes walk to Mai Khao Beach. There are many cafes around and the hotel has a kitchen where you can cook everything yourself. I really liked it! Thank you!

We originally booked one night as we were flying in late and it was close to the airport but upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and the accommodation was so picturesque that we decided to extend our stay by an extra day! This accommodation is well maintained and great if you are looking for something more quiet and surrounded by nature. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try some different from the usual Phuket scene.

Location is very convenient, closed to many local restaurants and two convenient stores located just next to the hotel. The beach is just about 10 minutes' walk (750 m from the hotel). There is a local tuk tuk that could take you there and to the Airplane viewpoint (less than 5 minutes). The room is comfortable and clean. The price is reasonable, even including breakfast. I will stay here again if I come around this area.

The proximity to the airport can cause some noise from planes taking off and landing, but thankfully, there aren't many at night. The facilities are well-equipped, and my family of four had a blast. The villa is large, just a two-minute walk from the beach. Lotus, the front desk, speaks some Chinese and is very welcoming and friendly. Electric carts stop at your doorstep, making it easy to get around. Restaurants and a 7-Eleven are nearby, and I highly recommend Maikhao, a restaurant that's delicious and affordable. The villas are located within the Splash Resort, and the breakfast is hearty. It's shared with the resort and mainly caters to international tourists. Grab is also convenient for commuting and ordering food. We spent two relaxing and relaxing days here, and it was a very pleasant experience.

The room was clean and tidy, with a slight musty smell, which is understandable. After all, it is a house on the seaside. The reception desk was very small. I clicked the navigation button to get there. It was 10 o'clock in the evening and I couldn't recognize it at all. I drove out and called again. It took some effort to find it.

This was the best hotel of the whole trip - the quietest, the cleanest, the newest. The room is very neat, the territory is pleasant and cozy. You can sleep well at night. There are many shops nearby (Super Chip, Big C, 7/11, etc.). The beach with gorgeous coarse sand is very close. There are many trees and thick shade near the beach. The shore is quite steep, deep right away, swimming can be difficult and unsafe because of the huge ocean waves. We went to the beach in the National Park, it is just below the airport. There are also few people there, also greenery and shade, but you can swim safely at any time. Unfortunately, we only had two nights before the return flight. It seems to me that you can easily live here for a week or more.

The villa was relatively clean though we found a cockroach and the pool floor was slimy. It was quickly rectified by the staff. Service was impeccable. Villa is a bit dated. Some parts of the flooring is cracked and broken and the pool tiles look like they need to be replaced. Other areas looks like they have been recently refurbished. The beach area is clean but there are no water sports. You can kayak but if you want to do other water sports, the hotel staff can take you to another beach for a fee. Location is quiet and peaceful. My parents loved the stay.
