Cozy room and nice balcony. Stayed here for 1 whole month, good location. 15 min drive to Ni Harn, Kata and Karon beaches. Shopping malls and convenience stores nearby. Very close to chalong pier, quite area.
Booked 2 months in advance, very cost-effective. The hotel is divided into 2 buildings, each equipped with a swimming pool, so there are many rooms with direct access to the swimming pool. The surrounding area is close to the ”Tiger Park” and can be reached on foot.
The room is very new and clean, with a refrigerator and daily consumables fully equipped, and the bed is relatively large and comfortable to sleep on.
The disadvantage is that the air conditioner is relatively cold, so be careful to control it yourself. The hotel provides basic breakfast (bread + coffee) but does not have a kitchen, so you can order takeout by Grab (very good). Phuket traffic is congested, so you need to plan your time in advance.

Found this hotel by chance online. An absolute gem. So booked online, hotel prices were quite reasonable so we booked a private villa with a pool. Easy booking online. Getting there was not easy, it’s a new hotel so not on Grab, or any map at the time for that matter. But driver found it. It’s inland so either get a motorcycle/scooter or car for easy in and out trips. Check-in was warm and pleasant. Loved that tea - I kept asking for more. Hotel was not fully operational in August, felt like a pre opening stage, but everything was up and running. Staff were great. Villa was just amazing. Clean, simple but with everything you need. A walk-in type closet to hang your clothes. Superb bathroom (that bath was something else). Sliding doors (bathroom and room) access to the desk by the private pool. All clean and new and so comfortable. Wifi was excellent. Breakfast was great, with the staff being warm and kind and helpful. In fact everything on their menu was great. Gym was great. The main infinity pool was just beautiful, with nice views of chalong bay. So yes we extended a few times - thanks to the manager and staff (thanks Bee). We checked other villas just to compare - all looked nice. We rented a scooter to zip around and go to the Muay Thai area for some sports, and were able to go to the beaches nearby or city to get on a boat etc. All in all, a superb spot. My favorite hotel of the year. Would love to go back.
This is a nice basic hotel. It is very clean with many of the amenities that you would expect in a 4 star property. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and are spotless. They were cleaned daily. The bed was very firm which is normal for Thailand. Internet was very fast which made up for a lack of English channels on the television. The air con was new and worked flawlessly, keeping the room cool. As with the rest of the room, the bathroom was new and fully stocked. The hot water worked well. The free breakfast was ok, mainly catering to Asian clientele but we didn’t go away hungry. The room had an amazing view of Chalong Harbour and if you plan on going scuba diving from the many companies in surrounding blocks, you only have a short walk to the pier. There are many restaurants and bars within a couple of minute walk. The hotel also has a nice rooftop pool with a few lounge chairs. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. Overall, I would recommend this location to friends.
Hotel is nice and quiet. Can only hear nature sounds from there (exotic birds, roosters, geese and ducks), but keep in mind it’s a bit far from everything. Staff is very helpful and they have good food at the hotel restaurant that is not expensive, really good value for money and health oriented. They have a nice yoga room on the terrace and they have 2 classes/day Monday to Friday. The AC was blowing straight in my bed so couldn’t sleep with it on and it gets really hot and humid, but can open the balcony door and windows and they have mosquito net. TV has Netflix, Amazon prime, YouTube etc, so you can login with your account and watch if you want. Internet works well. I didn’t like the shower gel and they were missing some stuff like slippers and toothpaste/toothbrush, but I had my own so I didn’t ask at the reception if they can give.
The hotel has a very long swimming pool. The pool water and facilities are very clean. Because there are not too many rooms, it is very quiet. The staff are also very enthusiastic and friendly. It is worth a visit.
Very spacious room and site. We hardly encountered any other guests during our 2 days stay. If you are looking for a private hide away, this should be your first choice! SPA is running buy 1 get 1 free promotion. Hop in if you got the chance!
“Absolute wow place” - quote my girl friend.
Kinda negative sides: The facilities are getting a bit old and rusty. No separate conditioner, all-in-one shampoo + conditioner only. You WILL encounter wild life so be prepared, mentally.
The 2 bedroom jacuzzi villa was really nice, new, nice furniture. But only new villas, the oder ones were really old and crap, we had at first 4BR garden villa and I couldn’t take a shower cause bathrooms were nasty. We paid for first day completely but came very late in the night-ok its our problem. But at our last day they throw us at 12.30pm outside in the heat with a 2 years old toddler before a 16 hours flight home saying they need to clean the villa for new guests so no late check out possible. We ask 3 times if it’s ok if only the baby sleeps in one room, no need the whole villa, answer were NO. Then they said we can pay for a day and stay there for 3 hours so our toddler can sleep! So no new guest? 😅 What a shame. Saying our baby should sleep outside at 30 degrees heat, wow not a family resort at all… really disappointed and definitely not coming again. The animals (especially roosters) where screaming every morning starting 5am, all the windows are not isolated so you hear everything, no sleep from 5 am! We stayed 15 days and the villa price was very expensive and offering no compromise for 3 hours extension except paying for the hole villa is really rude. The location is ok if you rent a car, because nothing to see around, but there are few really good restaurants nearby and a supermarket, no car needed. Nice new community infinity pool, the old one with children pool has broken floors so not recommend using with kids!
The location is good, kinda in the middle of tourist locations. You can literally see the Big Buddha from the hotels entrance. The receptionist wasn't the friendliest, you literally have to stand your ground with her. But overall, good place for a group of people, as villas sleep 8. I think some rooms can be fixed up a little bit as well as the beds, as they weren't so comfy. But a decent stay I'd say.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel. If you want the content for instagrams - you're here! Welcome staff, I was helped to get my things in the room, settled before 2:00.
The room was cleaned very well. Soaps even windows)))
Of the downsides, the laundry from the hotel is broken, there is no exchange of coupons, dry machines are broken. But across the road from the hotel there is a decent laundry.
The hotel is on a busy track, so it is worth to be careful when walking to the nearest cafes, etc. It is also not worth to settle here if you ride a bike without rights or helmet. Nearby is a major interface with the police and police station. They can also stop to check your bags for a ban.
GGuest UserBeautiful villa that is SHA+ and extremely good price considering most places that are SHA+ are over charging because of the Thailand pass. Location is just off a main busy road but would still be good to get a bike or car or download grab. Staff are extremely friendly rooms were cleaned every single day pool was a nice size and the overall atmosphere was great. There was always someone at reception no matter the time so that helped a lot. My only issue would be that the main living room/kitchen, which isn’t connected to any of the bedrooms and has its own entry, had no aircon in there only a fan which doesn’t really help in that heat, we didn’t really spend any time in there which was fine but maybe if there was an AC in there we would have, however for the overall price and hospitality it was a small thing to overlook. We stayed in the 4 bedroom villa, all villas have 4 bedrooms they just lock the doors depending on how many you need so every villa is the same just located differently, we stayed in villa 212 and it was perfect as our pool got that early morning through to 1pm sun so we were able ti enjoy the pool
GGuest UserWe had a very nice stay, so much so that we even checked in there a second time during the same vacation. The background was another hotel with which we were unfortunately not at all satisfied. The hotel has a very large and beautifully landscaped pool. The rooms are well furnished, unfortunately a bit noisy. During our second stay we had very noisy neighbors, which meant we were able to observe this very closely. The location is OK and the staff is very friendly. The hotel has its own cafe with good food, good coffee and very tasty desserts. Wat Chalong and Chalong Pier can be reached very quickly. However, you should generally rent a vehicle as other places are more difficult to reach. We would go there again.
GGopinathan1667This was probably one of the best place i stayed throughout my visits to Phuket. I opted to stay away from the hustle ans bustle of Patong. After short listing some spot through Tripadvisor and looking at the prices, decided to stay here. The staffs manning this awesome from the front-desk to the housekeeping and even the security guard were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were sparkly clean and the housekeeping did a great job everyday. Liked the room color scheme which made it more cleaner. The pool was awesome and well managed and was enjoyable. No doubt its not in the most central place but a short walk will land you near Chalong pier area where there are places to go. Renting a scooter at the hotel was convenient and reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here again if intend to be in Chalong
GGuest UserTHE WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. Every details below is documented, by payment, emails and messeger. Shortly the story is, I booked a room at Villa Sonata in Phuket for almost one month using ”Agoda” platform. I paid, I wrote directly to the reservation office at Villa Sonata's email address. They answered and confirmed me all with internal reservation number. Two days ago, they wrote me I lost the reservation, they cancelled everything 2 weeks before go using this reason: A system error, the price you paid was too low. Is first time in my life something like this happen. Of course I wrote them and asked them to solve, but for them doesn't matter the big problem I have now! Search for an other room. The truth is that Phuket is exploding of turists and all prices are growing excessively. So, they decided to cancelled my reservation and OFFER my the same room at the almost DOUBLE of the price I paid. This is the truth, this is the game they easly did with my life. I'm not going to Phuket as normal turist, I'm going to see my son that live there. And now I need to solve my problem and of course after many weeks and growing prices, I will pay every room I will be lucky to find, more and more. Thank you ”Agoda”, Thank you ”Villa Sonata”, Thank you ”The Griffin Hotel Management Company (GHMC)”, Thank you ”THUN HOLDING Co., Ltd.”, Thank you all to trample on the people life because business and money are more important. I have paid for your error, your mistake. I suggest to ”The Griffin Hotel Management Company (GHMC)” and ”THUN HOLDING Co., Ltd.” to manage better their proprieties and to have better managers in their proprieties, because the reputation and the conscience are more important than money.
GGuest UserFor the money it’s decent enough £80 for 3 nights, it’s not major luxury by any stretch but the room is clean, the bed is comfy, the pool is ideal to cool down after being out all day free water dispenser next to front office and location is around 18-20 minutes from most attractions by moped. There are a few little shops near and a small grocery store maybe 10-15 minutes walk, 3-4 on moped. A moped rental about 7 minutes walk, a laundrette and restaurant opposite probably 3-4 minute walk even in flip flops. The young guy who runs the place is really nice and helpful. If I return to Phuket and wanted to stop over this side of the city I would definitely use the place again, also the street is really quite.
GGuest UserI especially like this hotel, suitable for people who like to stay quiet. The room is very clean and comfortable. It has a balcony and a kitchen. It can be said that although the sparrow is small and well-equipped, I admire the designer's use of the space so well. There is a swimming pool on the roof, and there is a 360-degree view of the scenery, there are mountains, there is the sea, facing the sea breeze, looking at the blocks, sea, and mountains not far away, you will feel very comfortable.
In addition, the location of this hotel is also good, very convenient, there are supermarkets, small shopping malls, and stalls around, which can perfectly meet the needs of daily life.
The hotel's front desk service and sanitation service are also in place, very good, and actively help solve any problems.
All in all, I like this hotel very much and highly recommend it.
Note: Many Europeans and Americans live here for a long time. I also lived there for eleven days before. It is very convenient to travel in Phuket by renting a car or riding a motorcycle.
