Decent hostel. Great and lively atmosphere although keep in mind it is very loud. I really liked it. Absolutely agree with other review, this is a party hostel, but I still managed to get sleep (with earplugs) on the nights I wanted a good rest.

Excellent experience as a Solo traveller, I went in not knowing anybody having just landed in the county and Asia that day. The bar area is so open with pool it’s easy to meet other traveler’s of all nationalities and the group tasks were amazing set by the staff especially Moses. Really good food and rooms, perfect for a first stay. Feels like uni life without the work! Would go again!

Great stay at Mad Monkey. We stayed in a private room and it had plenty of space and was clean. Bathroom was also clean but a few minor cleanliness errors such as toothpaste stains on the shelving.
The staff are very helpful and the reps work well to get you involved. They can also organise tours etc which is great.
Location is very good.
We enjoyed our stay here and are now heading to stay at Mad Monkey in Siem Reap.

Unfriendly front desk, has a pool, nice. Not much going on, but great area to much with other travellers .
Restaurant grossly overpriced, 9$ breakfast, half toasted limp bread, tasteless bacon, can't properly eat, frustrating. Why can't you serve a simple breakfast properly, Aldo salt pepper missing.
All while eaten alive from mosquitoes.
I'm moving to a better place!
I'm a food designer myself, the composition doesn't make any sense and is of poor flavor pairing.

Great atmosphere at Mad Monkey. Stayed on second floor in private room to avoid the partying downstairs. It was noisy but nonetheless, I slept well. Of course, everyone’s sleeping pattern ain’t the same. So choose your hostel wisely. Friendly staff and easy walk to most attractions day and night.
