Spinneys Guesthouse & Beach Cottages

Spinneys was not at all what we expected. It was a very old building, really quite run down. The room was small and obliviously, the closet had been converted to a shower, so no place to hang up clothing and no one of extra proportions would fit in the shower. The room was not "dirty" per se, just not very clean and lots of stairs! I was recovering from a serious knee injury so the stairs were a deal breaker. We had paid for two nights and only stayed one. We asked for a refund, but were ignored even after having stated that the stairs were a real problem. Too bad it was so far into the boondocks, we wouldn't have even stayed one night after hiking up all the stairs and seeing the room. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. The sheets appeared to be clean a freshly changed.

The location was perfect. Loved the fact that we could cook there. It was large and roomy. Beds comfortable. However the kitchen area was filthy. Like it had not been cleaned. I would go back again though. It was the end of the season and probably not much help left.
