We came to the national park for a few days and booked an inexpensive but cozy room and it was the only budget hotel where you can stay with pets that we had, but upon arrival we were very surprised! Everything turned out to be much better than we expected! Great staff, cozy clean houses, amazing nature and a garden from which we were treated to flower lemonade, too delicious! We are very happy and will only come back here!

Very cozy houses among the lush greenery of the jungle. There is no kettle or refrigerator in the houses - this was not a problem for us, we stayed for one night. The air conditioning works great, the house is spacious and very clean. Good breakfast (about 5 European breakfast options to choose from) and fresh vegetables/fruits.

We hadden twee kamers. Van 1 kamer deed zowel de airco het niet als de plafondventilator. Een staande ventilator werd als alternatief aangeboden. Men probeerde wel de airco schoon te maken. Het restaurant is heeft een simpele kaart en alles is smakelijk. Dit is een basic verblijf voor 1 nacht of 2 nachten. Zorg voor voldoende dagactiviteiten.

De locatie is adembenemend! Wij zaten in een deluxe huisje maar deluxe was ver te zoeken. Het hoofdkussen had vlekken evenals de klamboe en de muur bij het hoofdeinde. Ook gaten in de klamboe. De douche was ondermaats en simpelweg verouderd en niet schoon. De waterdruk was ook slecht. Op een locatie als deze verwacht je basic maar niet als je een deluxe kamer hebt. Het ontbijt was teleurstellend. Je kon enkel kiezen uit brood om te toasten, vers fruit en drinken . Al het andere was optioneel en tegen betaling, wat wel lekker was. Als je wil voorkomen dat er teveel eten wordt weggegooid laat dan mensen tevoren iets kiezen zonder extra toeslag. Vanwege de locatie zit je geïsoleerd. Dus als je ergens anders wil eten dan moet je rekenen op hoge taxi kosten. Het avondeten was overigens wel lekker. Ook iets waar je rekening mee moet houden is de tafelschikking. Voelt wat geforceerd en past niet bij de locatie. Koffers werden netjes naar huisje gebracht.

Prachtige locatie midden in de jungle. Kamers zijn voorzien van airco, regendouche en heerlijke boxspringbedden. Huisje bijna volledig van glas en dus vrij uitzicht op de jungle. Wij hebben hier 2 nachten verbleven op basis van half pension. Er is geen betere manier om de dag te beginnen als met een ontbijtje met het uitzicht op de jungle. Ontbijt was prima. Diner was eten ‘ wat de pot schaft’ en alles was even heerlijk. De kano excursie was heel leuk ondanks de regen. De gids heeft in bamboe op een vuurtje koffie voor ons gemaakt in de jungle bij een grot. Wij hebben ook apen gezien. De dagexcursie naar het meer was te gek. Ook daar hebben wij apen gezien en de neushoornvogel. Toen wij terug kwamen stond het diner alweer klaar met een koud biertje. Wat wil je nog meer? Erg vriendelijk personeel wat ook nog eens heerlijke cocktails kon maken. Gezellige gesprekken gehad met de general manager, ook een vriendelijke en geïnteresseerde man. Kortom, zeker een aanrader voor een bezoek aan Khao Sok.
