Wish i had not found Lost Guest House Check in was a nightmare Intercom to get in, terrible sound quality, no idea what was said. Given key for wrong room. Lady came to correct, very sorry. Walls paper thin, difficult to sleep. Disrupted one morning at 3am by someone watching tv, another time by a loud srgument on phone. Room small, very little space around bed, door into bathroom very awkward as hung on wrong side. Internet unreliable, one night did not work at all, otger times signal dropped regularly, very annoying. We wanted somewhere to have a good sleep for a long working day, not possible here.

Stunning house and great service. An absolutely stunning house and great service. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and will be back. Durham is a beautiful city and our stay here was the icing on the cake. We are both carnivores and the staff were very considerate, giving us a packed breakfast to take with us as we had to leave very early on the morning of our departure. Thank you so much for an incredible break. We will be back in the spring. James and Lydia.

Friendly reception, efficient check-in and basic but comfortable accommodation, I would use again for short term solo visit to Peterhead
